I honestly have never owned a Michael Kors bag because I don't buy too many bags, and I like to curate them, or tend to buy second-hand luxury brands. I suppose I just never really tried MK yet because I've been too busy to do shopping, either online in person as well. What immediately impressed me about the Colby bag is how chic it is. I absolutely adore the orange against dark brown with the MK monogram. It's really classy and outstanding. I also like the design of the bag, which is unique on its own, but has a slightly retro look in the buckle. This bag is appealing in various ways and sure to impress and please the owner of the bag. It is also very well-made, sturdy, and looks like it will last many years. As you can see from my photo, it arrived very safely wrapped, and it was also enclosed in a plastic bag and the delivery package. The bag was delivered overnight. Very high quality purse, the leather has a luxury look and feel to it that you don't see with more generic material. Perfect size for what she uses it for, and really seems to be happy with it. No complaints, light weight, durable, and looks pretty nice.

This is a lovely purse, with a simplistic, classic design. It's made of soft leather, and it snaps open. It has a long, open outer pocket on the back for various items. There are two pockets on the front of a decent size. It has a small inner pocket on the back of the purse, and surprisingly, inside the purse there is enough room for my 8.7" tablet and its Otterbox-esque case. I appreciate there is enough room for my tablet and likely a wallet, perhaps a cellphone as well as miscellaneous items like chapstick or lip gloss. When they call this a shoulder bag, they aren't kidding. It sits right under the shoulder, pretty snug against your armpit. I could see it getting uncomfortable more quickly than a crossbody purse. At least this purse is light, and as long as you don't put too many heavy items in it, you should be okay for several hours at least. For such a pricey purse, I expected Amazon to ship it better. It came in one of their envelopes, with no padding, foam, or bubble wrap. The only thing protecting it was the very thin tissue paper it was wrapped in printed with the designer's logo. Fortunately it wasn't harmed in shipping, but I could see it getting deformed or marred if something heavy was shipped with it. Hopefully they are more careful shipping such items in the future. I got some chipped ceramic coasters recently because they were in a box with no protection. But I digress. Overall this is a handsome and well crafted purse. If you are looking for a small and classy purse for your outings, I would recommend this one. How it sits right under your shoulder should make it more secure as well. ... show more

This is a such a cute bag. Very simple yet elegantly made. I feel like it's the perfect size to have all what you need and some of your wants lol. Great material quality. My first Michael Kors bag and I like it!
