Loved this purchase. I almost didn't get it bc some of the bad reviews had me nervous. I wanted my review to clarify and counteract some of the low star ratings. 1st-the description is misleading. It is not a large tote. It is a handbag. It is a good size, but I think it's a stretch to call it a tote. I've seen the style before in the store, so I knew what to expect. If you order without knowing, I can see why that would be a disappointment. 2nd-its the real thing as far as I can tell. Some reviews claimed their bags were copies bc of lack of leather, etc. I dont remember the description mentioning leather. No MK bag with MK printed all over it will be leather. Any leather bag I've seen from them is a solid color. It is the same high quality I've purchased at the MK outlet. 3rd-Some said their bag seemed used. I can only speak for what I received, but it was packed nicely with thin foam wrapped around the handles, MK logo, and zipper pulls. There was paper and such inside to help the purse keep its shape. It looks and feels like a real Michael Kors handbag the zipper got snagged a few times which is why I gave it 4 stars I had to kind of oil the zipper a little bit to give it some sleekness but other than that she was ecstatic!
