I could not be happier. I wanted colorful dishes. I wanted dishes that would be perfect for meals or snacks. I wanted to be able to select dish size and function and not just order a ”pat” set. So I ordered these dishes which are not only beautiful, they come in a set of 6, which is perfect for a couple who might want to have a guest or two over for dinner once in a while. We never use the huge plates, so tho it is customary to have that kind of set, we made up our own set that would be more useful to us. We got 6 small plates and 6 small bowls. We filled out our set with small black pasta bowls (not related to these) and we are super happy with the functionality of our choices. These plates (and the bowls from the same set) are very very nice. They microwaved just fine, have beautiful colors and a lovely shape, and I could not be happier. These plates are the type that will last forever. Order all the pieces you want and be sure they will be heirlooms eventually. Enjoy!

I've had these plates about four months now and loved then, until I've now had TWO crack in half... 1st was in the microwave after 2 and 1/2 minutes and the 2nd I had a microwave dome on it for a minute out on the counter to keep the food warm. I've never known a plate to crack and break from that little heat, very disappointed 😞

Really loved these dishes, very colorful. HOWEVER, already down to 3 large dinner plates and 4 small plates - literally cracked as we were eating off them. Not happy at all about that. They claim to be microwave and dishwasher safe. We do not put them in the microwave but do put them in the dishwasher. The oddest thing is that they are cracking when we are using them! Very disappointed.

This was a gift from someone. When I opened it, there were 5 plates and not 6. Unfortunately, the red color was no longer available. I have a red set of their smaller plates so I ended up keeping the 5 plates so I'd have both salad / dessert and dinner plates in the same color. Would have loved to have received all 6 plates.

They say microwaveable. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews before ordering them - now I see this was mentioned by another consumer - clearly I'm not the only one who has had their plates quickly explode in their microwaves. A beautiful set of 6 was down to 4 in no time and what is left cannot go in my microwave. They should refund us or at least replace the ones that broke before we realized we could not trust what they said - do not put in microwave or plan for some explosions!
