The seller did a pretty good job listing this item as it is in real life exactly as shown & described. I commissioned a butterfly mother-daughter necklace & 1/2 is yellow gold, the other 1/2 is white gold. I needed an inexpensive, yellow gold chain, 20" long 1.5mm width. I wanted a 1.2mm but had difficulties finding one in time. This 1.5mm suited my needs. The only con I'd note about this chain is it's described as "diamond cut". Upon reeeaaalllyyyy close inspection (using super soon on my super camera) it is noticeable there are dents one could call "diamond cut", but in no way does this diamond cut, budget chain look the same as one I bought from a jeweler. It is what you see; a good looking chain. For my last minute needs, this fit the bill. I can't say how long the gold plating will last but I will say it is a pretty, rich buttery 18k, not the orange-tone some budget pieces have. The length was as described and the clasp is lobster style, which I prefer because it's easier to open & close. Another detail I think worth mentioning is the packaging. Sometimes we buy things as a gift & want to use the box it was shipped in. Included in the pictures is a photo of the packaging. There is an outside sleeve that covers the box the necklace is actually contained in. I thought that a thoughtful touch because the outer sleeve has nicks, dents, and small black smears on it but the box itself was completely protected. ... show more
