I have thin nails that bend and flex easily, as well as nail splitting on the sides. I would have to cut any nail that split as it would catch on everything or eventually break. I stumbled across this product watching nail care video on YouTube. I am extremely pleased with this builder gel. It was my first time using it and it was extremely easy. I just wanted an overlay on my natural nail to add strength as well as to prevent breakage and to promote growth and length. It does just that. For my first time I used 3 thin coats (but could have gotten away w/ just 2). I cured each layer for 60 seconds in my LED lamp (base followed by 3 thin layers of builder gel). Once cured my nails are very hard and ridged, it also smoothed out any dips or ridges on my nail bed. If you are looking to add strength to you nails, this is it. I was able to try this product a couple of days ago after having used the iGel version. The iGel version was much thicker. It took a little longer to self level. As opposed to the Mia secret. The Mia Secret builder in a bottle was much thinner and easier to work with. It was easier to control on the nail and it was able to evenly self level itself. I like the idea of a brush-on builder gel and it’s easy to use. The only downside is that’s it’s thick when applying so you have to go slow and careful and don’t tilt your hand afterwards because it does not lay flat or level out.

The Hardening it does to my nails as well as the thickness .so if your growing out your natural nails but you have problems such as peeling ,softness etc.this here product you should enjoy .yet u may want to think about those around you because this stuff is strong in scent .please don’t use this around the kids….I’d wear and replace each week…or two weeks .soon you’ll start seeing your nails growing💅 ... show more

    • Best builder in a bottle
I've tried all the builder gels on Amazon and this one is my favorite. It's thick but not so thick that the brush gets stuck and creates bubbles. It levels out quick, so I recommend a liner brush to get close close to the cuticle so you don't flood it. The perfect pink is almost clear.
