I have thin nails that bend and flex easily, as well as nail splitting on the sides. I would have to cut any nail that split as it would catch on everything or eventually break. I stumbled across this product watching nail care video on YouTube. I am extremely pleased with this builder gel. It was my first time using it and it was extremely easy. I just wanted an overlay on my natural nail to add strength as well as to prevent breakage and to promote growth and length. It does just that. For my first time I used 3 thin coats (but could have gotten away w/ just 2). I cured each layer for 60 seconds in my LED lamp (base followed by 3 thin layers of builder gel). Once cured my nails are very hard and ridged, it also smoothed out any dips or ridges on my nail bed. If you are looking to add strength to you nails, this is it. Get it! Get it! Get it! I cannot believe I never knew this existed! I will probably never put dip on again! It was so simple to use! I was nervous and watched a million YouTube videos but I don’t know why. I have also now ordered the clear and the frosted pink! It’s a little discolored since I just removed a dark dip powder but it will get better once my natural nails have had a chance to recover! I’m so glad I found this! This picture is one gel base coat (cure 60 secs) two layers of clear pink gel builder (cured 60 secs each layer) and one clear gel top coat (cured twice for 60 secs) and voila! Don’t hesitate, just get it and leave salons and broken brittle nails in the rear view! ... show more

The Hardening it does to my nails as well as the thickness .so if your growing out your natural nails but you have problems such as peeling ,softness etc.this here product you should enjoy .yet u may want to think about those around you because this stuff is strong in scent .please don’t use this around the kids….I’d wear and replace each week…or two weeks .soon you’ll start seeing your nails growing💅 ... show more

Nice product as an overlay on natural nails or to build and lengthen nails. It’s a very very sheer pink and a consistency a little thicker than gel polish. Sculpted nails are fairly stable when balanced and when the natural nails is prepped correctly.

I was able to try this product a couple of days ago after having used the iGel version. The iGel version was much thicker. It took a little longer to self level. As opposed to the Mia secret. The Mia Secret builder in a bottle was much thinner and easier to work with. It was easier to control on the nail and it was able to evenly self level itself. I don't do nails professionally but I have learned to do my moms nails and my own. Everything from acrylic to gel, for a couple years now. And this is the BEST affordable gel I have found that lasts on my moms nails. She's a custodian and so she is always using her hands for everything and everything would chip off her, no matter how well I prepped the nail.
