When I first saw the package, I had to giggle! They were shrink wrapped with a label on top. Although the cloths are thin, they feel durable. They dry out quickly which is good for here in Florida due to the humidity. The colors are bright and pretty. I think they’re worth their money.

These will NOT replace paper towels but will greatly diminish your need for them. They’re not as absorbent, so you have to rinse and swipe several times. However, they’re easy to toss into the laundry and cheap enough to use many times. Certainly better for the environment and far less expensive than paper towels. Advise to wash before using as they come with a non-absorbent finish. Much better following several washings. Cotton, after all. Rather than purchase again, would try the Swedish sponge-type washcloths next time. The cotton type do NOT carry odors! ... show more

Before using the dishcloths, I washed them in a small load of towels to soften them up because they were so incredibly stiff, see through, and flat. My washer is gentle....it has no center agitator. When I took them out, two had lost stitching on their border hems and one was deeply frayed into the cloth. I will have to stitch every cloth around its border if I am to get years of usage as I expect from a woven waffle cotton dishcloth. Poor workmanship. I might add that the cloth itself is thin and disappointing. It feels like plastic rather than what a waffle weave cotton cloth should feel like. They badly distorted in size and shape after going through the dryer. No longer square. Very poor value for the money. ... show more

I bought another set for my sister, before discovering that these cloths seem to repel liquids, rather than sopping them up. The only way I obtained decent absorbency, was to put them in the dryer, which I do not make a habit of (I hang everything on clotheslines outside). After putting them in the dryer, using them & rewashing & hanging outside, they returned to the non absorbent state. ... show more
