It’s a great looking and feels distribution tool. The stand is a bit unnecessary and takes up space. If I were to buy one again I’d buy a different one with the needle slightly more angles out

I like this tool, but it does have its drawbacks. First the good...The handle is 3 pieces that can be unscrewed from each other. I have no idea why the top piece (with the magnets) can be separated, but it can. The bottom piece unscrews and that allows you to replace one or more needles, as well as change the length. The range I was able to get was about 2 1/4 inches to 2 58. Plenty long enough for espresso. They advertise for pour over as well. I use my WDT tools to stir the grounds in my pour over during the bloom phase. The length is good for a Kalita Wave, but a bit short when using on a V60 02 with 30 grams of grounds and 80 grams of water. It does work well with the grounds prior to adding the water, though. Be aware these needles are very sharp. They are sharp enough where you need to be careful when the grounds and filter are wet. They can easily catch on the filter and make a hole in it. I really like the magnetic end on it. I can attach that to the stand it comes with, or also to anything magnetic (like a grinder). When you angle it, it will easily break the magnetic connection, but otherwise the connection is pretty strong. Having the needles exposed is good when wet WDTing. That exposure allows the needles to dry fairly easily. The primary drawback for me is the sharpness of the needles. If needed, I can always grind them down just a tad to take away the sharpness of them.

Overall, I give it a solid four stars. It's well built fits in the hand easy (although it is a little narrow for my grip) And it hangs from the magnet holder as it should. It does a pretty good job of distributing, although I like my tines spread apart a little further for my WDT. But I would say it is a good value for the money and it's cool to look at.
