Assembly was easy, I didn’t even look to see if there was an instruction card because it definitely wasn’t needed. It is top heavy so starting it from the ground doesn’t work very well but if you have a friend or a lot of stamina running it with someone holding it up worked, it flaps it’s wings slightly like a butterfly would and it’s rainbow design was very eye catching it was really pretty to see.

When I was a child I enjoyed visiting my great grandfather's farm and when the weather was good for kite flying, we were allowed to use his old wood and paper kites. I still like flying a kite, but these days most kites are made of rip-stop nylon and fiberglass rods. This is a perfect set of kites, too. Each kite is individually packed in its own bag and complete with their own string spool. The butterfly print is very cute and vibrant. Each kite comes with an instruction sheet so you can easily gift these out to your loved ones; or to your granddaughters like I have. These kites are large as well so you will be able to clearly see them in the air. What a great set for the money and even better when I see the smiles my grand-kids make while flying them.

Wow, this set of three kites is better than expected. I purchased them for myself and my young adult daughters to take to the beach or the park. These are lightweight polyester, but feel like a rip stop material. The tails are super long and will help to balance the flight of the kites so they don't take nosedive. The keel is centered well, the kite string seems pretty strong, and there's a nice metal hook on the string to attach to the keel. The metal hook is a great feature, because typically the string gets tied directly onto the keel, which isn't ideal. I would say this string "may" be able to handle a flight at the beach with higher winds, but I will have to test that in the near future. We didn't have enough wind to speak of in order to test the kites locally, so we have to wait for a beach day. But I'm pleased with the vivid colors, the string, and the ease of assembly. As of 3/19/2024, this set of 3 kites is about 25 doll hairs, which is an excellent value for the quality of the kites. *Please view pictures and any video as I consider them part of my full review.

The media could not be loaded. Got this for our 2 year old to fly at our local Kite Festival and she loves it. It was pretty easy to take out and put together. Nice and sturdy and a strong clasp to ensure we don't lose it. It was a windy day, sustained 15+ mph winds and this didn't lose control. It did occasionally dart to the wind change, but nothing that a quick tug didn't fix. Went up super fast and was easy to bring back in. Having the wings flap made it a lot of fun for the kids. It was easy to take down and put back in its case. What great fun and looking forward to taking it out a lot more.

these kites are super cute and were easy to set up. We weren't able to get them in the air, but i'm certain that is an us problem and not a kite problem. It is nice to have several of them. It makes it easier for when we are out with friends. :)

At first, I didn’t realize it was a three pack but wow these are so much fun to play with with the kids. It’s a good thing you do get a three pack because I already lost one in the tree really easy to put together and for the price you really can’t beat it.

All three kites are colorful and eye appealing. Easy to assemble using the enclosed instructions. Easy to store in the enclosed nylon sleeve. The string clip was tricky to secure and I had to resort to a pair of needle nose pliers to open the clip and then close it. Otherwise no complaint. The kites are very lightweight but appear to be durable. They are new so I’ll have to see how well they hold up after a few flights. Very affordably priced.
