I wanted to walk the course, but not push a cart up our many hills. This cart was perfect. It even helps pull me up the hills. Any little bit of help is nice. I'm 76 and want to continue to walk the course as long as possible.

I have a large cart bag and walk 9 holes in my golf league once a week. it's nice to be able to hold my cigar and a drink and have the cart advance by itself. I have to turn the speed up to 13-14 for my walking pace. I find it a little strange that you can't pull the cart backwards with or without the battery in place, but I understand that's a built in safety feature so that the cart doesn't roll backwards. I haven't found the off button, so if you want it off you have to disengage the battery. I wish it had a couple of additional carry pouches for other things e.g. keys, wallet, extra beverages, ice, etc ... show more

Have had zip 3 for just under 2 years with good maintenance and parts start going bad. Can replace them but may be better replacing complete cart. Wheels about $250 with shipping and $350 for battery? Wish I could get a more durable cart.

I've had this a couple of golf seasons now and I am very happy I purchased this. The price was much less than others but I've been very pleased with how the battery has held the charge, how quickly it charges and how much nicer it is to walk in the hills of VT and NH. Because the battery just clips on and off the frame, I've been able to leave the cart at the club for the season and just take the battery home to charge. Knock of wood I haven't had any problem with this. If I forget the battery, I just adjust the wheels with the tab and it free wheels. Highly recommend this cart. ... show more

As an avid golfer for going on 30 years, I have been waiting for a lightweight, affordable autonomous golf cart. These have been available for decades, but were incredibly heavy and cumbersome (early models used car batteries. Imagine disassembling that after a crappy round), and way too expensive. Not anymore. The MGI Zip X3 is both lightweight and affordable. With the money I save on cart fees and the amount of golf I play, this baby will pay for itself in less than a year. Not to mention that starting in 2022, I get to pay senior fees! Whoooooo! Golf just became cheap! The MGI Zip 3 is great. it folds down easily to something not much bigger than a 3-wheel push cart. Attaching the battery is effortless, I could go on. I chose the X3 rather than the X5 because I didn't want to pay extra for the remote, and I'm glad I didn't I just walk near to it, next to it, or behind it, making what adjustments to its course I need to as I walk, and a round of golf is a nice stroll. Battery only last 5 hours. So if you decide to have lunch with your buddies in golf coarse put your cart in car first. I need to buy score card holder it doesn’t come with it. Overall it helps and make golf easier. Weight is ok, performance is good, material looks cheap.

First this makes walking 18 holes so much more enjoyable - at 58 I’m far less tired after a round of golf. This is a great buggy, speed at 5 is good at 6 it’s brisk and I can’t keep up with 7-9, so won’t ever use that speed. For the money and lithium 36 hole battery life, the quality of this product, I don’t think you can beat it. I wavered on a remote control version but once you set the direction and speed, very few adjustments are needed - it does the work. Smooth and extremely quiet which was important to me.
