The cart is sturdy and well built. It is easy to fold, unfold and lift into and out of my trunk. There is a long list of optional accessories. Battery life is promised at 36 holes. After several rounds of 18 holes, my battery is at about 60% charge after each round. The clip on the remote is a bit loose when slipped over a belt. I have had it pop off once when placed on my belt on my backside when squatting to place a tee. That is concerning that it could pop off and not be noticed. I’ve used it for six rounds at two courses. The cart works well. Moves at a variety of speeds and follows remote commands well. Easy to operate - simple, elegant, sturdy. Remember to engage the fifth wheel. I’ve tipped it back over going uphill when I forgot. Battery seems good, like it actually will get through two rounds. And it’s easy to recharge in the garage overnight. Remote is rechargeable, too, and recharged quickly. The accessories are another story. The card holder is too small for the cards at both courses I play, so the card can fall out with bumps on the course. Pencils, too. I have lost four. The water bottle holder will not hold your bottle when the cart meets what I would call average bumps, holes, sprinkler heads, etc. I’ve tried two different sized bottles and both have hit the ground many times. I paid extra for the seat. It is just OK. I find my Clic Gear seat to be a better product but it can’t be attached to the electric cart. I wish there was on-board storage. I was spoiled by my Clic Gear. But I can’t push like I used to and this is a good option for walking without hard labor. My club pro says it’s the best of what they sell in the pro shop. That is an endorsement. Overall, I have been satisfied with it and have played better golf since using it as I am not as tired late in the rounds. Anything to play better golf, right? ... show more

    • This Trolley is a blast and gives you total freedom on the course. But sold me one from 2024.

I have only had this for about a week. So far it is wonderful on the course. The remote works fantastically well. The speed is very adjustable and great. Great going up hills and downhills. It is less stable on side hills so be careful. When not using the remote, my cart has a strong pull to the right that I need to ask if this can be fixed. It seems well built. If you lose the remote, it costs around $279 to replace. Battery life so far is very good with no issues. Difficult to put back into the car because you have to grab onto both front and back and this is awkward. They should have a handle that you can just pick up the whole thing. The cupholder is not great as it turns upside down easily. It does not come with a scorecard holder so that will cost you close to $45. If you have a golf bag that stands, plan on replacing it with a true cart bag without legs as these will not work well on this e;ectric push cart (trolley). A new battery will cost you $399.00. I sure hope everything lasts and I don't lose the remote. However, this is probably the same or worse with other similar trolleys and I am glad I purchased this mgi. I orginally really wanted one that automatically follows me, but now that I have it, I think this is actually better that is does not do that. And you could have it basically follow you if you keep a close eye on it and I think this would be the case even with the trolleys that automatically follow you to make sure they don't hit some strange items on the course. Again, I would buy this MGI again so I am glad I purchased it. UPDATE: I just looked at the manufacturing date to get the issue with the strong pull to the right, and I discovered that this cart was built in 2024 and therefore, they sold me a trolley that is 2 years old. Therefore, this has just been sitting for 2 years. This is not what I expected. The older the cart, the quicker items will wear out. Hopefully, the seller will make this right and send me a new cart. ... show more

Great power cart very easy to assemble and light weight and easy to operate. Also very easy to store. Excellent stability on small hills and side hills. If you have a stand bag it is a little awkward but it stills fits fine. Battery life is also very good. I purchase the separate cooler bag with storage, it is a must as there is no other storage with the cart. Great value for the price. While the stability is very good, you need to hold the cart when trying to cross bridges or climb very steep hills. ... show more

Played a few rounds with it so far and my initial assessment is very positive. The remote control is easy to use, solidly built, plenty of power and the multiple speeds give you options on your pace of play. I tried mine on a very steep incline up to a tee box just to see if it could handle the climb with my 35lbs bag of clubs, and it handled the climb with no issues… make sure you have your bottom back stabilizing wheel fully extended on steep hills so you don’t flip over. As for battery life, I have a 299W 24V battery. I ran my MGI Navigator ragged for 18 holes and still had a 68% charge left on the battery when I was done. With this being said, my early assessment has been very positive, but only time will tell if my satisfaction holds up over the long haul. ... show more

    • DON’T BUY THIS CADDY unless you like poor design and a company that wont stand behind its product

This caddy is intended for use OUTSIDE and yet the design somehow can’t prevent damage from incidental water exposure. The company, after having made a note of “issues with potential water damage” chose to circumvent an obvious design flaw by excluding water damage from the warranty. This is a premium priced caddy and I think that premium design engineering would reasonably expected. My caddy was less the two years in service. I took care to avoid superfluous water exposure as recommended in the product manual. I live in New Mexico where it rains about as much as politicians tell the truth. I was, unfortunately, caught in a couple of thunderstorms (I DID NOT DRIVE IT INTO A LAKE!!) while on the course and did all I could to minimize water exposure. After the servicing department examined my caddy they determined it sustained enough “water damage” to preclude repair or replacement because of warranty exclusion. I asked what it would cost “out of pocket” for repair. Their response was the cost would be more than buying new caddy. What?!?!!! I wrote letters of inquiry to both the Service Dept and Sales Dept looking for a rationale for designing a piece of equipment intended for outdoor use that is so susceptible to water damage. No response from either inquiry. The company has, however, been able to inundate me with sales and promotional ads even after unsubscribing from its mailing list. ... show more

Bough last year, about a year ago. I have about 35 walking 18-hole rounds now behind me using the MGI. No issues, except maybe me getting worn out on a few hilly courses. The MGI didn’t. I love walking with my MGI. It changes your complete perspective of golf for the better. BTW, I’ve also lost almost 30 pounds thanks to my MGI. Didn’t expect that, but happy about it. The MGI uses about 40-50% of its battery per round. You can do 36; I never have. It’s a great product. The only things I’d caution you is it may tip over if you don’t pay attention.
