I purchased the purple color for my 6 years old granddaughter as a Christmas gift, she loves it. It requires you to have an APP for setting up the watch but thank god there's a very detailed instruction that tells you how to do it step by step. The watch tracks your activities daily such as steps, but the kid loves the various wallpapers she can switch over.
