This console is great. I know it's not real wood but it's tough, not a soft surface that easily stains, scratches, etc. The stickers didn't remove any of the surface when I scraped them off. Was not hard to put together and the charger is also convenient. Construction is sturdy. There are only diagonal bars on the side to keep stuff from falling out so we put some thin pieces of board on the inside. I stuck on some felt pieces (peel & stick furniture pads) to the bars then hot glued the wood pieces to the felt & it held (nowhere to nail the pieces in on the sides). I also cut a piece of thin board & nailed it to the back because about 70% of the back is open. But if they closed in the sides & back of course they would charge more & I felt $100 was plenty enough, would not want to pay more. We did sand & stain the boards to try to match the wood color, didn't work so well altho I used the darkest stain I had. So I went over the stain with some dark wax and that gave me very close a color match. If you have larger items to store you probably wouldn't need to attach extra side & back pieces of wood (cardboard, whatever). It holds a lot & organizes my husband's junk which was getting loose all over the room. He plugs in his phone, tablet, everybody's happy. And the room looks so much neater & nicer. ... show more

Assembly was not difficult. I put it together by myself although it did take me about 45 minutes. It looks really cute and the smaller size and thin profile make it perfect for our smaller hallway. It’s very sturdy and good quality.

Very good quality very sturdy which was a huge deal for me as I have kids and grand kids that like to touch everything lol it is very elegant yet simple looking only bad thing is the directions are a little hard to read but was easy once I figured them out definitely worth the price i highly recommend I am adding a picture it’s not the best but it’s almost midnight and i just got it together total time a bit over an hour which isn’t bad at all ... show more

This table looks great once it is put together, BUT.....it took me half a day to put it together. The assembly instructions were terrible. No step-by-step instructions. The table was for the most what I expected. The frame is light metal and the rest is manufactured wood covered with wood grain appearance material. The material is done very well.
