I got a larger boat this year and I've been looking around for a sit-in, two-person tow tube for the hot summer days to come. I saw this MewVeer Aqua Surge two person towable tube and thought, “That's it!” It arrived in a surprisingly small box, yet, when I unpacked it the quality seemed very nice. There is a heavy denier (and colorful) nylon cover over a heavy vinyl inflatable unit. The main portion of the inflatable unit has a Boston valve (pictured) making for very fast inflating. I used an electric pump with a psi meter so I was able to inflate to the recommended 1.2 psi without issue. The “floorboards” and headrests have the old-style small inflation vents (pictured) but my pump made it a cinch to inflate with a narrow gauge adapter. Don't try to blow these up with your own lungs...you're just going to pass out...unless, of course, you're into that sort of thing. Since your fanny sits down in the “cockpit” water can tend to accumulate, however, there is a drain sewn into the lower rear of the nylon cover allowing the excess water to bleed off when you get up and running. There are nice padded handles for both riders and the head rests will be nice during long “cruises” around the lake. The quick connect is substantial with 6 tabs sewn into the tow strap to spread out the load. I have not been able to get out on the lake as of this writing but I will follow up with an edited review when I do. It should be noted that deflating was quite easy and I was able to fold the entire thing almost back to the original shipping size...nice! The price point is very good for a two-person tube and, at this point, it deserves five stars in my book! ... show more

I can't review longevity yet, since I've only had it for a month. But the fun factor is off the charts. This is a total blast. Inflation is easy (with one of those portable inflators - I use the one from my inflatable SUP), and a ton of fun on the water.

The real test of these tubes is how long they last, so we will see and will update if the longevity isn't there. So far it seems to hold air well, is comfortable (for kids and teens, haven't tried an adult yet) to ride in, and looks well made. It has a main air chamber with wide fill hole, and 4 smaller chambers with smaller fill holes (2 seat area and 2 head rest). I have moved by a lake and I have used this towable tube to tow my three-year-old daughter on the lake, in places with just a little bit of water (for safety). I did not connect it yet to a boat, although it has this option. It worked great and she really liked the boat. I was a little scared when I saw some water on the white seats, but I realized afterwards that it was due to the drainage system. For safety, the two white seats are not connected in the middle, leaving some exposure to the nylon coating, through which water can go through to drain. I am very pleased with the quality of this boat and it makes living on a lake much more fun. I highly recommend it! ... show more

This is a nice 2 person tube to tow behind the boat. It is easy enough to inflate, especially if you have an electric pump. I HIGHLY suggest using an electric pump to blow this up. The handles and tow tag seem to be well made and are attached very well, so you don’t have to worry about its ability to be towed. I would suggest that you take note of the weight capacity of 340 pounds when towing adults in this though. For kids this is a blast, and it makes for a great day out on the water. ... show more

Very fun towable tube for the kids and teens. It is fun to sit in when riding rather than lying down. The water stays out of your face much better and you don’t feel like you are in the constant state of falling off. The material is nice and heavy and has good handles to grip.
