This cup keeps my tea so hot. Sometimes too hot & I have to leave the spout open to cool it down. So be careful sipping too fast, if the contents are hot... it can burn you!

I bought 2 of these to use camping. Mugs are very nice and kept coffee plenty warm while slowly enjoying it. My only concern is the lids on both cups don’t fit super tight. They seem a bit too loose. Right now they do not leak but I’m afraid they may before too long and I’ll have to replace the lids. Don’t know for sure though ... show more

I used to keep my tea on a warmer on the desk so it stayed somewhere between hot and warm all day to soothe my throat since I talk on the phone as a customer service rep. But sitting on a warmer made it prone to being knocked over, and I didn't want to damage company equipment. I needed something leakproof and something that could keep the drink and the right temp all day. Unfortunately this cup seemed to keep the drink too hot if left closed so as not to leak, but if I opened it up to let some heat out, it went cold faster than it does in a regular coffee cup. And since this mug is steel, I couldn't pop it into the microwave to warm it without pouring it another cup first. I never got around to trying it with cold drinks, I was too frustrated by then. It is as leakproof as a cup with a sliding mouthpiece in the lid can get, true. But it's not easy to clean under that slider. It does create a tight vacuum seal, so make sure to have the slider open to take off and put on the lid. ... show more
