  • Well, it works?!
I bought this because of the setup I wanted required Poe. That said, I cannot understand why they charge so much for it. It’s less than $30 in parts. If you can find an alternative for less, I’d suggest you do!

  • Excellent PoE Adapter for Mevo Start
This ethernet PoE adapter works well and reliably. I have two of these for my two Mevo Start cameras. I wanted an ethernet connection for higher bandwidth and consistency. The PoE is a bonus as I don't have to worry about the batteries in the cameras and I don't have to run separate power cables for longer streaming sessions. The adapters come with right angle USB-C cables so you don't need to purchase them separately. There are cheaper ethernet adapters available that are compatible with the Mevo Start but none have PoE to my knowledge. There are a couple of compatible ethernet adapters that work like power injectors which means you need a power connection in addition to the ethernet cable. I think its cleaner and easier to use this PoE ethernet adapter and it is well worth the price in my opinion. ... show more

  • It works!
I bought 2 Mevos for use in my church, so I bought 2 PoE adapters as well. The Ethernet comes from a PoE switch, so the Mevos turn on and off when the switch is turned on and off. A wired connection is much more stable than wireless, so if you can go wired, I’d recommend getting this adapter as well. ... show more

  • Don't Waste your Money
After a recent firmware upgrade to the Mevo Start Camera the Logitech Mevo Ethernet Power Adapter stopped working in Ethernet mode. I opened a case with Logitech and basically got no Support. Save your money and buy one of the alternative POE adapters they recommend on their site like the Belkin. Luckily I had it as a backup. [UPDATE] 08/29/2022 - Workaround: Open the MEVO App so you can monitor the changes but don't connect to the Mevo Start just yet. Plug an Ethernet cable from a POE Switch into the Ethernet Adapter. Plug the USB-A to USB-C cable from the charging brick (included with the camera) to the USB-C port on the same side as the Ethernet adapter. Plug another USB-C cable into the other side of the Ethernet Adapter then plug the other end into the Mevo Start camera. Essentially you are now providing power for the Ethernet Adapter even though it is getting power from a POE Switch as well. You should see the MEVO App change to 'Ethernet (Direct link) under the camera icon and the 'Ethernet' option is now available on the other side of the screen. Remove the CAT5E cable from the Mevo Start Ethernet Power Adapter the Ethernet option should still be available. Plug the Ethernet cable back in and remove the USB-A t USB-C cable from the Ethernet side of the Adapter and you should now be able to connect via Ethernet again. ... show more

  • Work as advertised
The item works very well as advertised. But I think price need to come a bit.

  • Best bang for the buck.
So, it’s a bit “pricey” but it’s perfect for my Mevo camera. It provides an Ethernet connection and a constant charging source both at the same time. No more wireless interface or worrying about the battery dying during a lengthy broadcast. There’s aftermarket ones I’ve tried, but they cause too many problems. Break down and buy this one, you won’t regret it. ... show more
