Got these for work in the ER. Love them! They cut great, no snags, and after several months they are still going. The rubber padding on the handles really helps when you have to cut off really thick materials. They are easy to hold, no slip. I got the black/grey combo. The price was too good to pass up, and the shears cut well. The most critical thing about them was that one pair was significantly smoother to use than the other. I can already see some wear on the tighter pair from where the blades working against themselves. Hopefully, they will loosen up with time. There was also some residue left over from the manufacturing process, but it was easily cleaned off with some soapy water. I do think a better quality check should have been done for these shears, but for the price, I'm not mad at it.

Bought the black 2-pair pack with offset handles and a blunt tip to slide under bandages. A lot of cheap scissors are not that great at cutting sheer materials because the joint is a little loose and the blades separate too much to really cut it. These though are among the best I've used, able to go right through a single layer as easily as half a dozen, and while being stamped out of sheet metal might normally be held against them the little pocket it forms along the inside of the blade makes it easy to get a drip of detergent on them and have it stay put while you put the bottle back when washing them up after use. The handle openings are also big enough to let anyone in the house use them, while also having a small enough diameter at the ends for small hands to not have trouble getting them open. Yet to see how long they last, but they seem pretty sturdy so far. I imagine they'd cut a penny in half like you see in the infomercials, and I'd even be willing to bet on them doing it twice unlike infomercial garbage. Not sure about three, but that's not the intended purpose anyway.

I purchased these as set, 1 for kitchen use misc & 1 for medical purposes. Works terrific on both paper & cardboard in kitchen & cutting length of bandages when removing rolls from feet. Safe, very shape, sturdy. My only trouble is they are a little stiff for my arthritic hands. Otherwise cut easy & hand grips are spacious.

Strong and made tough. These don't behave like normal scissors ..it take more pressure to close the two parts together. They can cut through really tough stuff including leather. And you also get two. One fir home one for the car...or bug out bag....or even first aid

I work in peds so I’m always on the lookout for fun colors and these are so bright! They’re heavy duty and seem really durable like they could truly cut through thick clothing or a seatbelt if needed. These are very large though. They don’t fit in my scrubs pockets so I’m keeping them for emergency scissors in the car instead.

Handles LOOK like they're very "grippy." Four stars, only because they have a slicker finish on the handles. They wanted to move around a little in my hand while test cutting heavier denim material. Good enough to keep, just not completely what I was hoping for.
