I use these at work a few times a day along with my coworkers. Sharp enough to easily cut through the entire roll of rolled gauze that some coworkers feel the need to put on foot wounds. Easily slides through thick plastic. Very comfortable and well made. Haven’t used the O2 or IV tubing feature. Easily fits in side pockets without poking me. Will buy again when the time comes. I love these scissors! I work in pre admission testing and normally use the bandage scissors and most of the time they are all that I need. Years ago as an ED nurse, I had the big trauma scissors. We recently had a code on our unit (rare occurrence!) and I needed to cut a patient’s clothing. It was definitely a struggle with my bandage scissors that just aren’t designed for heavy duty like the trauma scissors. I’ve gotten used to having smaller scissors that fit in my pocket and didn’t really want to go back to having big scissors. When I saw these small trauma scissors, I decided to try them out. They are bigger than bandage scissors but still small enough to fit in my scrub top pocket and they are very lightweight. I love how these how so many additional features like the tip functioning as a screwdriver and the strong magnet on one side of them. They are very sharp and if I ever have another code on my unit, I know they will work well. They also work for what I use them for daily on my unit. Scissors are sharp and compact in your pocket. It has a built-in O2 tank wrench that is very handy with e-cylinders that need a flowmeter placed on tank. I recently worked at a nursing-rehab center that didn't have the usual large green flowmeter and pressure gauge already on the e-cylinder like many hospitals have. I'm a nurse and I needed shears that are small enough to be pocketable, sharp enough to cut clothes but overall doesn’t crush your wallet’s heart when you lose it. Bought this pair last May 2021 at $10.95 and I have put this to great use. I can cut light clothes, IV lines, ekg papers and hang nails. It also has serrations that greatly helps loosen tight luer locks. It also has a slot for oxygen regulators but I never used it. It doesn’t cut leather jackets or paracords; it probably could but that’ll break it maybe in a month or 2. I recommend this shears for regular hospital use. I will buy this again. I can’t recommend this for those working in the EMS, ED or Trauma ICU fields; those will need the Leathermans. ... show more

1.5 year review update: I have now had these for about a year and half. They are still nearly as sharp as when I got them. All my coworkers like borrowing them for thick bandages. One added benefit is that the "flat head tip" is an excellent box opener. These are brilliant. Also I have found that the magnet helps hold to my other bandage scissors well. **Still highly recommended**. Still 5 stars. See my original review below. I wanted to wait a full week before I wrote a review. These sheers are awesome. I bought these to use for larger bandages and other things. These work excellent for cutting through thicker bandage material and can fully cut through a "robert jones" splint on a dog. I have used the oxygen key slot and it works well. The tool to remove IV lines works but not the greatest. What I really like is the magnet. It sticks to the other tools in my pocket and helps keep them organized. It also keeps them from falling off a metal table. I have let my coworkers use these on several occasions and they like them as well. Do note that the size is a bit small. Which I actually appreciate. I have big hands and they still work well for me. I would not use these to remove an IV catheter on an animal but for everything else they are great. Also at this price point once they wear out I will just buy a couple more *highly recommended* ... show more
