The sealer is easy to use, but it takes some practice to gauge how long to press the packaging to seal it, but not melt it all the way through. As inexpensive as this sealer is, it will pay for itself quickly by way of saving groceries from becoming stale.

I really like this bag sealer, however after I bought it my daughter told me I could have just used a hair straightener. But anyway, this is dedicated to the kitchen. It works well and heats up quickly. My only issue with it is that the on/off switch is inside the clamps so when you go to turn it off it is really hot. I have started to just unplug it and not risk burning my fingers because of where the switch is located. ... show more

I should have read the description more closely before purchasing. The length of the heat element is not long enough to cover the bags I need to seal. The product looks great and comes in a nice case. Unfortunately it will not work for me.

I wish the advertisement video was alot more honest on how to really use this item. I thought that this product would create the same type of seal that at least my vacuumed sealer can make but it does not. The truth is, there's a trick to using this, you CANNOT apply it on the bag for too long or else the bag would literally MELT. The seal will NOT look like a store bought seal (like an unopened bag of chips). Instead, the seal looks completely ghetto! Which if I wanted that kind of result, I could have just opted for a lighter and a pair of needle nose pliers to seal it myself ... show more
