I have been using this hangboard for training for months now, and have a lot to say about it. the holds are excellent, the quality is very good, the unit looks appealing. It is definitely a conversation piece for anyone who comes into my room. The board itself is the darker material, and I used a piece of plywood to secure it as mentioned in the instructions. I went a step above and routed the edges, marked and drilled all of the holes precisely, and mounted the board centered on my door and the plywood. This extra time has made all the difference. Very nice looking piece. Very easy to install (buy some plywood for a backing). Very comfortable texture. Very helpful for seeing how weak I am when crimps are involved.
