This Method "energy boost" body wash is paraben and phosphate free. The front label highlights citrus, ginger and sea buckthorn. To me the scent is a nice and pleasant light citrus fragrance. I had to look up sea buckthorn. Amazingly, sea buckthorn has some very impressive historical "medicinal" uses and contains a variety of vitamins. A look at the ingredient listing on the back of the bottle does include those three highlighted ingredients. Citrus is in the form of citrus nobilis - mandarin orange peel. Ginger is in the form of zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract. Sea buckthorn hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn) fruit extract. It definitely has the ingredients listed on the front. As far as an energy boost...not sure I can say I felt that. However, this is a very nice lathering, pleasant smelling body wash. Definitely something to consider using in the shower. I like it and enjoy showering with it.

I got this to review, not expecting much. I used this a few times and I really love the scent, texture and it is not full of chemicals. It does a good job getting you clean. It is packaged in a nice box that can be repurposed, I use it to keep all my small adapters and cables. I am going to be buying this again when it runs out! Price is reasonable compared to other quality body washes. Sure there is dollar store body wash, but you get what you pay for!

I have just returned from a shower where I used this wash with glee. It has a very mild scent that's not perfumey or overpowering, and it doesn't smell like a household cleanser. If you like those things then you may not enjoy this. I really like it because it got me squeaky clean and there's just a very very faint scent of citrus remaining on my skin. Seems to moisturize the right amount as well. You can't go wrong with Method - I recently started trying several of their products and can't imagine life without them.

I tested this body wash on my hands since I'm not a person who uses body wash in the shower as I prefer using bar soap for bathing. This body wash lathered well. There was no sticky residue on my hands after use. The scent is very subtle, almost nonexistent. In fact, this product could be labeled "fragrance free." The price per oz. is higher than a brand like Dove. I'm not sure if Dove is Paraben and Phtalate Free. I did not feel any energy boost from using this product.

I'm not sure what sea buckhorn smells like, but this does not smell very citrus-y, so it must be the ginger that it mostly smells like. It works fine, lathers up easily in the pouf and rinses off well and leaves skin clean and fresh. I like this brand and use several of their cleaning products as well as body wash.

I use a lot of Method products already, so I was delighted to try out the body wash. It smells great, in fact I wish the fragrance was a little stronger and longer lasting. I love peonies even though I realize they are an old lady flower, they're still one of my favorites and I'm so pleased that peony fragrance seems to be coming back in style! This body wash is the consistency of a light lotion. It lathers up and makes a decent amount of suds. Smells great. Feels silky smooth on the skin and leaves the body squeaky clean. Honestly, this may become my go-to body wash.

This smells mostly like citrus. It has a very fresh clean citrus scent. Lathered up nicely on my loofah with a small amount. The bottle is mid sized at 8 inches tall and holding 18 fluid ounces of body wash. Left my skin feeing clean and smelling like citrus bliss!

This body wash smells absolutely amazing and is like a bit of added aromatherapy in the shower. I love the bright citrus scent and it does help wake me up in the morning. The wash is quite moisturizing and works well with my sensitive skin. I also love that it is cruelty free and made with plant based cleansers. It comes neatly packaged in a sealed box.
