Such a great purchase that we went and ordered an additional panel for a total of 4. The panels are packaged well with enough styrofoam that minimal shifting, if any, of the individual parts occur. There was no damage in transit. The directions are straightforward and the parts are labeled with numbers that correspond to each step. The company even provides you with work gloves and appropriate size screwdriver! The assembly is not difficult and while it could be completed by one person and extra pair of hands is helpful. The quality and weight of each frame and 3 panels that slide into the frame (to make one privacy screen) are substantial. We had a concern about using the panels freestanding in the yard/grass. We actually assembled them on a fairly windy day and surprisingly the extended spikes provided managed to keep them in place. We did secure them a step more by affixing a small metal post from local hardware store used for staking temporary metal fencing panels. We zip tied the post to the privacy screen in the middle, back of the screen about half way up and of course also put the stake into the ground. Also zip tying the screens together seems to help anchor. The company provides zip ties. There is only one observation that we wish was different, but it is no means a deal breaker. We wish the hardware was not bright silver, white. Along black screens you can see each screw, if they were powder coated black that would be perfect. We purchased the screen to create some privacy along one part of the garden. While the design/panels are of an open design they do give a good amount of privacy. They also are nicely decorative. The black finish is more satin then gloss. We truly feel for the price, the panels are worth the investment. We so far have no regrets and would recommend them.

I was sent a returned product complete with the bar code (from the buyer) for the return. As well, the box was so damaged and torn that I thought it was going to be a damaged product inside. Turned out okay. I blame Amazon for this not the manufacturer or seller. As far as the privacy panel itself— I like the panel but the color isn’t a dark brown as pictured. It’s a soft brown with yellow tones. Still a brown but don’t go by the picture if you’re considering this color. I would’ve preferred the darker brown to go with the house paint so I was disappointed. I put it together in less than an hour from unboxing to placing in the yard (and I’m almost 70). The instructions are similar to IKEA instructions so don’t expect too much help there. It just takes some common sense, it’s actually pretty simple. Included are gloves and a screwdriver which I thought was a nice touch. Each bag of hardware is clearly marked so I appreciated that too. Once put together it looks good. I placed a sandbag on the legs for stability as the winds where I live are very strong. I don’t have too much to say on the negative side. The only thing I wish was that the exposed screws weren’t silver but I guess that can’t be helped. Higher end panels have painted or hidden screws or even screw covers. It doesn’t rain here much but this is supposed to hold up in rain. When it rains, I will know how well it does and update if it rusts.

This was one of the BEST purchases I've ever made. It took about an hour and a half to assemble but I kept stopping...mainly because I'm OLD, lol. As you can see by the photos it turned out well. I'm so very pleased because it allows me privacy from my neighbors and yet I don't feel closed in. I love it and may buy more if the situation arises. This would look so cool on an apartment balcony. Also, it's been through several heavy storms and it hasn't rusted. I anchored it to the deck with a few zip ties, very simple to do and it looks so elegant.

Easy to assemble. Because we live in a windy area we had to anchor the legs with more than the provided pegs. If screwed into a deck or patio I am sure it would be stable in the wind. Sturdy, and just enough privacy without feeling boxed in. Arrived in perfect condition. The directions are through pictures not words. All parts were there.

The holes didn't line up to put the screws in, so a few were left out and the wind knocked it over and bent it alittle. If you have an area to screw it in the ground, it probably would be better than it free standing alone. It looks nice, but it isn't worth the cost.
