Very nice metal cabinet, great for your shop or garage. It came very well packaged with lots of Styrofoam wrapping. Of course, it all depends on the handling, it still might come damaged. And the steel is very thin, to be honest. It's still very heavy. Luckily, mine was not damaged at all, all the parts were in good shape. Assembly might not be easy for everyone, it takes a little bit of technical aptitude. But all the holes and connections lined up well, the level of quality in this price category surprised me pleasantly. Give yourself enough space to move the cabinet around during assembly, I had some trouble because of the limited space I had in the corner of my shop. But in the end it all came together nicely, and I am very happy with the end product. Once I fastened it to the wall, it felt rock solid. Took me about an hour to assemble. One interesting feature are the adjustable legs: There is a white silicone plug on the bottom on all 4 corners of the cabinet where the adjustable feet are; when you remove it, you can go in with a long screwdriver (not included) and move the foot up or down to level it.     • Big of a challenge assembling but worth it
Like most metal cabinets/chests I’ve purchased over the years online, this one was a bit of a challenge putting together. The instructions were okay, but some of the holes didn’t quite align like they should. I was able to maneuver the pieces into place with a little elbow grease, but this may be a deterrent to some people. It took around an hour to put together with one person. It is heavy at around 80 lbs. and sits around 6ft tall. While not rock solid, it is pretty sturdy. The shelves hold a good amount of weight, and the door has an option to lock shut. The real payoff is how much better your garage looks once you move all of your junk off the work bench and into the cabinet! ... show more

This cabinet is quite nice and solid. I was a bit worried that the walls were thin, but once it is put together, it is solid. It locks and the doors line up well. I thought it went together quite easily, and it took about an hour with just me and my cat assembling it. She was mostly there as supervision and to check the quality of my work. Not much help. What I like most is that each shelf feels quite strong, and each will hold 120lbs, which is quite a bit. I was able to put several items in the cabinet and close it, so my garage looks much cleaner. I will say there were a couple times in the directions that I had to just step back and think about how it should look and how it should go together, but it wasn't too bad. They could be a little clearer though. Since it is a metal cabinet, I also got some magnetic dry erase boards so I can note any items I need to get at the store. I write down what I need throughout the week or so, and then take a picture of my list before going to the store on the weekend. No paper list to lose or forget. ... show more

This is a well made, sturdy cabinet and it wasn’t hard to put together. It took me and my 9-year-old helper about an hour. All the holes lined up and everything felt solid. The instructions were clear and easy to follow except for the locking mechanism, but we figured it out. My photo may help others. I really like the way every piece was clearly marked including the hardware, which had distinct bags for each kind. Unfortunately, the metal does dent easily pre-assembly and due to the size I think it lends itself to shipping damage. The first one I received came with a puncture in the box which resulted in a large dent. Amazon was no help, but the manufacturer sent me another right away. Unfortunately the new one must have been dropped because it was even worse with multiple pieces dented. It still went together with no issues and really doesn’t look bad unless you inspect it closely. I chose to give it 5 stars since shipping is really the only issue and the seller stands behind their product. ... show more

it is very hard to assemble. Take me at least 3h. The instruction is very awful, very hard to read. The holes didn't allign well making it really hard to put the screws in. The steel board is very soft and easily deformed. There should be two springs to connect the door but they are easily missing. not recommended ... show more

    • Hard to put together
This was very difficult to assemble. Just based on that I would likely look at other alternatives if I were to get another cabinet like this. It is very heavy, but that's not a good thing or bad thing. The durability seems fair. It is just shy of 6 feet tall as described. It's OK.

This garage cabinet is fantastic for organizing and decluttering your space. While the locking feature is a nice touch, I probably won't use it much. What's really impressive is how much neater and cleaner my garage looks now that I can store everything neatly away. I have another cabinet that's one of the name brands, and this feels just as solid. The shelves are all adjustable and the lock seems like it will at least keep my kids out of it in the garage. It only took about an hour to put together, and the instructions were pretty easy to follow.
