I like this decorative outdoor garden fence kit. I must have ordered an older version of this fencing kit because I received a kit that only contains four panels. Each of the four metal fence panels that I received feels solid and well made. I like the color and I like the feel and finish of the panels. I found these fence panels extremely easy to install so long as the soil is not rock hard. The only thing that really disappoints me about this decorative fencing kit is that once assembled, the fence measures at just over 8 feet long, about one foot shorter than the advertised 9 feet. Each of the fence panels that I received measures 26 3/4 inches across from the metal loops at each end. The metal loops are the mounting rings. Each panel measures about 25 1/4 inches across if I do not count the mounting rings, if I only count the metal squares section of the fence panel. Each of the panels that I received stands about 30 1/2 inches high in the middle at the lower portion inside the decorative dip. The tallest part of these fence panels at the ends stands at about 33 inches. As I mentioned previously, once I had all four of these fence panels installed, the fence that they created measures in at 8 feet and 1 inches, which is short of the 9 feet length that was advertised. For that I will deduct one star from my rating of this fence kit. I had this four panel fence installed in under 30 minutes. In that 30 minutes I am including unboxing the fence kit, reading the installation instructions and, having to remove and reinstall the fourth and last panel because I wasn't paying attention and installed it upside down. To install this fence simply overlap the previous fence panel's mounting rings with the next fence panel's mounting rings, insert one of the metal stakes through the set of overlapped mounting rings and then press the metal stake into the ground. I found one hard area of ground that I could not get the fence's metal stake to go into easily, so I went and found my rubber mallet and tried hammering the stake in. That did not work either so I pulled up the stake, moved it over an inch or so, and found a softer area of ground to drive the stake into. It really is just that easy to install this fence! If using a rubber mallet to pound the fence stakes into the ground, cover the top of the stake with a cloth. I did some minor damage to the finish on top of the metal stake and onto the parts of the fence next to it. Although the fence kit that I received fell short of the overall advertised length, I think that this fence kit is very nice. It feels sturdy enough to keep out most medium size dogs, unless they are the type of dog that is extremely determined to get out. I would use this fence to keep the neighbors' dogs out of my yard. One of them is huge but I think probably not very determined so I think that it would work to keep even that big dog out. If I fenced my entire yard with these decorative garden fence panels I am pretty sure that I would be able to keep the neighbor's dogs out of my yard. I would need to get a permit to install a permanent fence but this fence can be easily moved or reshaped at the drop of a hat. Four stars!

This is a perfectly good metal fence. I appreciate that it is higher than 2 feet as it is difficult to find these that are. I thought that it felt like a good weight but could maybe be sturdier than it is, and the poles could go down further into the ground, but there isn't a way to adjust any of that. It works fine but is perhaps not the strongest or longest lasting little metal fence you can find. I ended up getting some more metal poles at the store just to reinforce it in the ground to make it a bit stronger.
