It's a well made toolbox. The spot welds don't seem weak. All the rivets on the hinges are tight. It opens and closes with ease. The handles are strong and comfortable in the hand. No rattling or noise. It seems very sturdy. It's thin steel but its powder coated nice. Better than a plastic toolbox anyday. Anything every happens you can just throw some rivets in and not worry about it for a while. True to dimensions in the descriptions and photos. I am very happy with this purchase

This toolbox is the perfect size for what I call my electronics toolbox. It is a tiny bit flimsy, but I am not overloading it. I used graphite on all the rivets that attach the levers to allow it to more smoothly operate. Holes that allow you to clamp the top together are a bit small. Having to use two handles to carry is a bit awkward. I like the fact that there are no built-in dividers; allows better storage of longer or wider tools.

Rating 1 start for multiple reasons. First, it arrived damaged in multiple places. It is dented, bent, scratched, etc. Second, it is extremely flimsy. When you pull the handles to open it, it doesn't even open straight. One part will start to open but the rest won't. Then you pull the part that got stuck and THAT opens, but the rest doesn't move. It's ridiculous. The idea is great, but the functionality is almost nonexistent. Third: SIZE IS NOT AS ADVERTISED. The sticker on the front literally says 8x8x18.3". The problem is, they aren't bothering to measure with the handles on the box! It's not like the handles can be removed, they're part of the design itself - so how the heck can you possibly say it's 18.3" long when the handles add another inch plus to the design?! We ordered this because the storage space we have specifically for our toolbox is 19" long. Ergo, an 18.3" toolbox should be a perfect fit. NOPE. Because they didn't include the handles in the measurements, we cannot close the door to the storage cabinet, which renders this toolbox utterly useless. Overall, the design is good in theory, terrible in execution. This is getting sent back ASAP as it is completely unusable as is.
