So, I had to get another one of these because the first one had a lid bent that kind of bowed out the ears that connected to the rivets. Well, the second one I got also had a slight bend, but not as bad, so I kept it. It doesn't help that there's zero padding on this. But, as far as a tool box, it seems to open and close easily like a box when you pull apart the arms. I am a super huge fan of steel over plastic. When people are digging up the artifacts of your household 3000 years from now, if you have a plastic tool box, when they touch it, it will fall to pieces. But this, this will still be metal. For that reason, I like it. As far as space, it doesn't have a whole lot, but I think most people can find a use for something like this. I have it in a cabinet with various parts and hardware, and I found like pieces of hardware to organize in it. So, instead of cardboard boxes separating things, I have this for some pieces that could use the extra protection. It's not stellar in quality and performance, but it's tough and metal and will work for me.

Flimsy, hardly put together. Some pictures show that it’s welded, it’s not, it hardly hammered on. Almost certainly a Temu drop ship like most Amazon products these days. Amazon shouldn’t accept such low quality on their platform.

This toolbox is the perfect size for what I call my electronics toolbox. It is a tiny bit flimsy, but I am not overloading it. I used graphite on all the rivets that attach the levers to allow it to more smoothly operate. Holes that allow you to clamp the top together are a bit small. Having to use two handles to carry is a bit awkward. I like the fact that there are no built-in dividers; allows better storage of longer or wider tools.
