It will work and looks like original plate. ONLY 1 ISSUE: When installed the left front corner is a little high. At first at thought it was the whole edge that was hitting, but it turns out there is just a little dot like area with x kind of bracing to it that hits and is too high. Compare with original in my photos, turned upside down it is the right side and the original bracing and dot area is low like the rest, the dado insert here is high in that area. I also point out on the saw where it is hitting. I just files and drilled down that bracing area on this plate and it is perfect. Looks to be the exact same manufacturer. ... show more

What you get is not identical to the picture. I've attached photos. I returned the first one I received thinking it was just a defect, but the second one was worse. They table inserts are badly scratched and do not fit properly. at the top, the notch is missing, allowing the plate to bend together and twist so it slides around and is not flat. ... show more

As has been said. It works on the Kobalt Tablesaw but needs a little modification. I actually had two issues. The first being the left side sticks up about a quarter of an inch from about midway down the left side. I used a grinder to remove the interfering metal. The second issue of this throat plate is the leveling screws at the back of the blade are located about an inch or so from the saw’s leveling platforms. Took me a minute to realize this. It wasn’t until I adjusted the back screws nearly all the way out and no difference was being made, that I noticed it was because the new throat plates screws don’t line up with the old ones. Easy fix. Some cardboard and tape and all is level. Hopefully the pics add clarity. Good deal for a Kobalt Tablesaw if you don’t mind putting a little effort into modding. ... show more

    • Fits Kobalt TS10601
As others have mentioned, this fits the Kobalt TS10601 table saw. Scroll up to "T Hall"'s review mentioning the slight misalignment. I experienced the same thing. I will go back and apply their fix to my plate and see if it makes a difference. But given that Kobalt are sheepishly not releasing their own dado plate anytime soon, this one plays the part. I was up and running in no time thanks to everyone's suggestion to use this plate and Amazon's quick delivery. Really enjoying my table saw now. ... show more

Fit for Kobalt table saw (model TS10601, Item 5058729). Had to do a little filing to get one corner to lay flat but that seemed pretty normal. Item came in original packaging, appeared brand new, and was exactly as pictured.
