Description

The 15-Gauge Cordless Angled Finish Nailer NT1865DMAS allows the user to move easily around the jobsite without hoses or compressors! Equipped with brushless motor technology and powered by a compact 3.0 Ah Lithium Ion battery, it is capable of driving up to 1,100 nails per charge. It employs a unique air spring drive system (similar to Metabo HPT's pneumatic line) that uses compressed air to drive each nail resulting in zero ramp up time, increased shooting speed, recoil that feels like a pneumatic nailer, quicker response time between drives, and better flush driving -- even at an angle. It also features a low battery indicator, selective actuation, tool-less jam release, tool-less depth of drive, variable position belt hook and LED light. This 15-Gauge cordless angled finish nailer drives nails from 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" in length and can be used for a variety of applications including chair rail, install molding, cabinetry and other finish applications.

I bought this a year ago and it was my 2nd metabo tool. It caused me to buy 18 more metabo 36v & 18v tools and now I have put away all my construction cords, compressors, pressure hoses. It is wonderful to not stumble thru construction sites & much safer.

The nailgun did not work so I looked it up on you tube. Turns out the compressed air was missing. There were a few steps that I had to follow and because of those steps I know the nail gun was not broken. To fill up the gun I had to purchase an extra component that cost me an extra 70 dollar and 14 dollar for transport. I think Metabo is cheating to push consumers to buy extra components and I just don't like the fact to have to buy extra stuff after purchase a new product. I think mine time matters.. ... show more

Light and easy to use. Battery lasts forever, seemingly. Easy to load, has never jammed and works like a dream. Only complaint is that is does not have enough power to nail two pieces of Hardi boards (concrete trim boards) together, this is the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. They should fix that. It’s rare that an item exceeds my expectations for it by such a wide margin. I spent a long time debating cordless nail guns. I went back and forth between proper framing hammers and finishing hammers and then of course. Brands. I settled on the metabo 15 ga finishing nailer and feel I made the right call. Framing hammers shoot framing nails. They’re large, heavy and expensive. If you’re actually doing structural framing this is clearly what you need. But for everything short of framing out a house that’s not so clear. The geometry on a 15 ga finish nail won’t split even thin wood. But has enough rigidity to hold lumber in place. This past weekend I built a set of outdoor furniture and some dividers/Plant walls. I used the gun to hold structural members in place while I squared them and put in pocket screws. With out this gun the job would have taken twice as long. I think I shot around 450 2 1/2” nails on one charge (battery didn’t die. I just finished). The metabo is fast, relatively light and very powerful. I couldn’t be happier. ... show more
