  • DeWalt Quality in a Compact Pin Nailer
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this DeWalt 20V 23G compact pin nailer performs. For such a small tool, it delivers plenty of power and consistently sets the pins flush without leaving marks on the wood surface. It’s been excellent for cabinet trim and molding projects where a clean, professional finish makes all the difference. The design is lightweight and comfortable to handle, which makes it easy to work in tighter spots or for longer periods without fatigue. Loading pins is straightforward and hassle-free, and the magazine feels sturdy enough for frequent use. Battery life has also been impressive—I can work through a good stretch of trim jobs without needing to swap packs, and it runs on the same batteries I already use for other DeWalt tools, which is a huge plus. Overall, it has quickly become a go-to tool in my finish work setup. If you’re looking for precision, reliability, and the kind of build quality DeWalt is known for, this compact pin nailer is a great addition. ... show more

  • Game-Changer for Trim Work – DeWalt Delivers Again!
This 20V DeWalt pin nailer has quickly become one of my favorite tools in the shop. As someone who does a lot of finish carpentry and trim work, this thing is a total game-changer. No more dragging around a compressor and hose—just grab the nailer and go. The tool is lightweight but solidly built, and the battery life is impressive. I’ve used it on multiple projects in a row without needing a recharge. It fires 23-gauge pins cleanly and consistently, and I haven’t had any jams or misfires yet. Depth adjustment is easy and accurate, and it leaves an almost invisible hole—perfect for delicate work on moldings, cabinetry, or small craft projects. If you’re already in the DeWalt 20V ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. Even if you’re not, it’s worth considering making the switch just for the convenience and quality of this tool. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • A joy to use!
I have another nailer (Dewalt brad nailer), but this pin nailer is a delight to use! It's actually one of my favorite tools to use. Love the trigger and fast shooting options. Works really well and a great tool to add to my woodworking/carpentry arsenal.

  • Solid and reliable
So far very reliable. As a finished carpenter, I own many tools from several brands. Reliability and function are the most important factors. I look for in a tool. In my professional experience, 23 gauge nailers are the most finicky and problematic nail guns. I have owned almost every major brand, both pneumatic and cordless and every single one of them have issues with feeding the nails and misfiring. I purchased this gun to replace my Milwaukee cordless. The Milwaukee was much smaller and lighter weight, but was so unreliable. It would only feed if I used a partial leave of nails. Any nails longer than an inch would only fire half the time. Very disappointing. So far this gun has been 100% reliable. I have only shot about 100 nails through it, however. So fingers crossed. Dewalt has always been my favorite tool platform. In my opinion, they have innovated and really held their own, especially in the cordless tool market. They are pro quality while also being affordable. ... show more

  • Excellent Pin Nailer!
This 23-gauge pin nailer is fantastic. It's compact, lightweight, and drives pins consistently without leaving marks. Perfect for delicate trim work and assembly. Battery life is solid (assuming it's cordless based on 20V). Makes quick work of fastening small pieces securely. Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • No Brainer... just get it!
I use a pin gun 6 days a week as a professional cabinet maker/ installer. Ryobi is probably the most common i see in a job site as well as in my to box mostly due to the cost. Honestly they work just fine, my last one made it 3 years. I decided to spend a bit more and try the dewalt this go around. Ater the first day, it's just sooo much better. Very well balanced and ergonomic, I didn't realize the Ryobi wasn't. Dewalt runs faster and sinks 1 3/8 pins in double layer hard wood work ease. I normally would have to set them with a punch or break then off flush. It really feels lighter because of the balance. The work lights are a great treat the red light indicating no pins is wonderful. Don't hesitate ... show more

  • Works great, and no hoses
This was an excellent purchase. I use a pin nailer often on small wood working projects, and having to pressurize a tank, and attach hoses, makes this most convenient. Works well, no jams, easy to maneuver, and well designed .👍👍
