Judging from the tint of the packaging, this might be bleeding black color, I haven't washed it yet so not sure. But the mesh is strong and stretchy and very soft to the touch. I loved it

This is good quality power mesh with good 4-way stretch with good recovery. This kind of fabric is frequently used as a support fabric sometimes as a lining and sometimes hidden in between the outer and lining. Since it has good recovery (meaning it goes back to where it was after being stretched) it works well for adding support. It is easy to sew with, I had no problems with it on my serger. ... show more

This stretch mesh is very light weight and sheer. It has nice drape. The stretch is four way but it stretches much more with the grain than against. The piece I received was 2 yards. Keep in mind, if you order more, it comes in 2 yard pieces so 4 yards will be 2 pieces. The price is what I would expect to pay for stretch mesh of this weight and quality. ... show more
