This is good quality power mesh with good 4-way stretch with good recovery. This kind of fabric is frequently used as a support fabric sometimes as a lining and sometimes hidden in between the outer and lining. Since it has good recovery (meaning it goes back to where it was after being stretched) it works well for adding support. It is easy to sew with, I had no problems with it on my serger. ... show more

This stretch mesh is very light weight and sheer. It has nice drape. The stretch is four way but it stretches much more with the grain than against. The piece I received was 2 yards.
