The pattern is printed and embossed fabric not a stitched and quilted quilt. Very soft but extremely thin and very light. The colors are pretty. If you want a warm, cozy quilted quilt this is not it. This is more of a pretty bedspread

Got this for our vacation cabin. I specifically wanted microfiber so it would not get clammy like cotton does. It fits the bill perfectly on that score. It is not stunningly quilt like, more like a thick blanket, but it is really pretty and washable. The pillow shams are not floppy, they stay perky.
