Didn't even have to break these in. (Had back up boots just in case!) Wore them on an all day trip to some abandoned mines in northern Ontario. Wet conditions with five inches of standing water in places. No problem. 100% waterproof, warm and comfortable. Excellent value for the price.

Glad I gave these shoes a try. I’ve had merrels before and I didn’t like how stiff and heavy they were. These ones are much more comfortable, roomy, and supportive. They are definitely wide… I’d be curious if the regular ones would feel ok, actually. Sizing was good though. I wore them hiking through wet grass and my fit stayed dry! ... show more

The boots arrived on time and look great! Better than I thought hey would look to be honest! I got a half size bigger than my last Merrell boots to have room for my special ortho inserts and am very happy that I did! Merrell is my go to boot! UPDATE: Unfortunately I have to change my rating to 3 stars as the left boot has severe holes in the inner heal liner now. I lace my boots EXACTLY the same and I do NOT do anything more with my right foot than my left at work 9(in fact more with the right). Pretty disappointed as these boots WERE really good and comfy. I hope to get a refund or at least replacement since they were only just purchased in March and been wearing only since mid April. ... show more
