The boots for me were a great fit and comfortable. The other brands I ordered prior to ordering Merrill, like Columbia and Keen the size 10 my toes would touch the front of the boot and the footbed were not comfortable, I had to return them. The Moab Adventure Merrell boot was a great fit and extremely comfortable they are true to size. You would be extremely happy with them.

I like Merrell and am a fan. However I would say these probably aren’t what I would call rugged hiking wear. Personally I bought these as an alternative to wearing traditional hiking shoes at work…needed something to replace my Columbias. I like the look of these but after wearing only one day the area of the boot at the joints of your toes to your foot is all crinkled upon top from bending in that area. I just don’t have confidence these will hold up for several years like my Columbias did. I like them, the look and all, but for hiking and wear over time much prefer Moab’s.

Love these boots. Comfortable right out of the box, lightly waterproof and feel good on my feet. I use them as workboots and they feel great as all my Merrell's do. I ordered 1/2 size up as I always do with Merrell and fit is perfect. Haven't worn them hiking yet, but I work maintenance at a golf course and these boots are getting 12,000-15,000 steps daily when I work. I'm very happy with them.

OK, that title isn't exactly true. These shoes tie with my other favorite hiking shoes, a pair or Merrell Moab Rovers that I've had for more than five years and put plenty of miles on. Those shoes are still going strong, but I wanted another pair with a higher ankle, figuring I'd sacrifice lightness for additional stability. These Moab Adventure Mids were the closest I could find to the Rovers, and they have proven to be perfect for the job. As one would expect, they're a bit heavier than their low-ankle cousins, but the additional stability was just what I was looking for on uneven trails. Like the Rovers, these Adventures are exceptionally comfortable, like wear-them-all-day-and-not-complain comfortable. They've also provided just the extra touch of lateral stability I was looking for. Would I buy them again? In a heartbeat.
