Initial review of these boots are they are true to size and comfortable. These boots were purchased to replace a previous pair of Moab 2 boots that I wear for work. I am a equipment operator working in rough terrain and environment so my job is particularly rough on boots. My last pair lasted 8 months before the sole failed. If I get 8-12 months for a pair of work boots I'm satisfied. i wore this for the first time on a 2 week trip to Ecuador, probably walked 50 to a 100 miles through the city through the Amazon in the Andes, they held up great really comfortable and somehow remained clean there sitting in my laundry room right now and look brand new. I downgraded support because the foot bed insert was paper thin plastic and had no arch support. good inserts can be purchased for 30 to 50 dollars but I feel that a boot this well made should supply a decent insert for the money. After all, economies of scale are well known by most buyers.

The fit , feel and durability. Everyday I work in Merril boots. I paint houses. Up and down ladders , up on roofs. I usually get a year and a half out of a pair !

Size: 13 Wide Color: Walnut
Ordered Size 13 Wide Hiking Boot. Fit was perfect and they are very comfortable. Size based on a previous older Merrell size 13 Moab 'Air' design shoe. The new Moab 3 design has the solid rubber bottom, which will last longer than the closed cell foam bottom of the older 'Air' version.

The Merrell men’s Moab hiking boot is the best ever. My husband absolutely swears by these & wears them daily due to an ankle injury.
