I work in a print shop in a large warehouse and am on my feet many hours each day on a concrete floor. These shoes are comfortable to wear for 14+ hours per day. They have good support and breath pretty well. They feel very durable and well made. Especially important to me is that they are available in wide sizes. I wear a size 9 wide, and these fit me well. They also have good traction even on wet surfaces. This is the second pair of Merrell shoes I’ve owned, and I have found their products to be reliable and high quality. The only down side to these shoes is that they are a bit heavy, but that’s pretty minor, and you get used to it fairly quickly.

I bought these boots for my son, who typically prefers sneakers, and he loved them from day one. They offer a great fit, are incredibly comfortable, and provide excellent foot support. The sizing is accurate, and the construction is solid and durable. While I've seen some mixed reviews about these boots, it's important to be realistic—no product will last indefinitely if subjected to excessive wear and tear. These boots are well-made and perform exactly as expected when used appropriately.

I only consider leaving reviews when I am really happy or very unhappy with the product or service. On this occasion it is the former. I received my new pair of Merrell mens Moab mid hiking boots (Shoes) just a few days ago so I dont have a lengthy experience for which I can speak about the shoes. However, what I can say is very positive. I tried them on with 2 different thicknesses of socks (light and heavy wool) and the fit was good for both. Walking around the house I was happy with the fit and feel and was very happy with the wight of the shoe. The model that I chose is NOT water proof. My purpose for the shoe boot is for walking on trails and hilly areas the do not require scrambling. Neither will I be traversing or crossing areas that have water or areas that are wet, so the need for the waterproof version was not necessary (My expectation is that they would be similarly comfortable, however I am not sure of this. For the last week I have worn the boots outside for walking to work and for field work with my dogs. I have found them the fit to still be very comfortable and the fit is true to size. My shoe size is a mens 10 M, and that is what I ordered. As for now, I find the durability of the shoe to be very good and I expect a long life of work out of them.

Very comfortable, sturdy tread. I loved the shoes. Of note, about 5 weeks after I bought them the glue on one of the shoes started to fail. I contacted the company and they stood behind the product perfectly. I sent pictures of the failure and they asked that I destroy the old shoes by cutting the tongues out and sending pic. I did so and they agreed to replace the shoes. It's taken 3-4 weeks to get new shoes, but I got them today. This company really stands behind their shoes, and that's what really counts. I am giving four stars versus 5 because I was without hiking shoes for a pretty lone time. But I am a happy customer. Update: I got a lot of miles out of these shoes, but finally wore them out. Had them about 15 months walking about 5 miles a day. Liked them so much I've purchased a second pair to replace the first. Good hiking shoe with excellent customer service. What more could you ask for? Update II: I just received my 4th pair of these shoes. The first pair had a glue failure within a few days. I contacted Merrell and they replaced the shoes without question. The second pair lasted a little over a year. This pair was replaced due to sole wear/cracking. The 3rd pair lasted just over a year. This pair also failed due to a glue failure in nearly the same place... outside heel area and it was a glue failure. Functionally I like the shoes a lot and so I purchased another pair which I received today. However, I'm not getting very long life from these shoes. I love them for comfort, utility, and fit, but durability could be better. If I was a serious young person hiker I don't think these would last much over 6 months. I have to double knot the laces else they constantly come untied (this drives me crazy!). I tried tightening them very tight but this didn't help, it just wears out the laces much faster. The laces seem to be good quality, but they will not stay tied without double knots. The interior of the shoes are very durable showing little wear. These shoes would be much better if the company could figure out the glue issues. I'm a 65+ year old man that's pretty easy on the shoes. What I do shouldn't be considered that strenuous.

BLUF, I’m a Meryl fanboy and own many different styles of Meryl shoes and boots. I have probably owned 20’sh pairs of these Moab 2 hiking boots in both the vents model for summer time, and the waterproof model for winter. I wear these daily on my hobby farm because they are simply some of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had on my feet. Little to no break in time, and they have acceptable durability for footwear that’s amazingly comfortable. I’m also a big fat dude that’s very hard on footwear in general. LoL I also use the Dr. Scholls fat guy (heavy duty for big and tall) inserts for even more support and comfort.

My husband wears his work boots to death working around the farm and when the last pair finally lost their soles he needed replacement boots ASAP. Since we are entering summer, he decided to try these boots instead of going with an all leather boot. The new Merrell boots are working out well and appear to be quite comfortable.
