I work in water daily and have worn these for almost 6 months and feet are still dry. I don’t stand in water, but they get wet all the time.     • Great hiking boots.
Hiking boots are my most used footware. These Merrells are lightweight, comfortable and last for years. They were a great price on Amazon and I highly recommend them.

    • Light weight and comfortable.
Light weight and comfortable however these do no fit like the Merrell Moc models; they have a differeent feel as they do not form around your foot as the Mocs do. Time will tell as to their lasting quality. Overeall a nice boot with good traction; feels more like a Sperry than a Merrell.

Great fit and a very sturdy build. Waterproof and lightweight. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in more rain or snow. Rounded toe allows room for thick socks. Metal grommets and hooks for the shoelaces are much better than the plastic found on other shoes. My pair also came with an extra set of brown shoelaces to swap out if needed depending on what I wear. ... show more

    • Very confortable
I had a similar pair before but lost it during my recent home moving. I purchased it right before my August Norwegian trip. This is the only pair of shoes I wore during the two-week trip. I hiked many mountains with almost 100 km. Very comfortable.

    • Good for light to moderate trail use
Bought the Erie mid boot to replace my worn out Moab mids. Most of my hikes are in fairly level areas with some rocky inclines. It works well for this and after 3 years the soles are getting thin and the waterproof feature has failed. While supremely comfortable, they are less secure fitting than the moabs and definitely not a boot for hiking in tough terrain. The lacing system just does not allow getting the boot secure enough and the soles have limited grip. I did buy these a half size bigger as recommended to wear with heavy socks and this works well length wise, but in the medium width my foot moves around side to side a bit. If you are looking for a light, comfortable, waterproof('ish) boot for less strenuous hiking these will keep your feet happy. ... show more

    • Very Comfortable Boots!
I have a wider foot and normally wear a 10.5 wide. Ordered these in a 10.5 and the fit is perfect. Plenty of room in the toe box and the claim of waterproofing is true. Definitely the most comfortable pair of mid ankle boots I have ever owned.
