I could have even gone with a small if I wanted a tighter fit. I never write reviews but I love this so much, I had to. This sweater is so comfortable and soft. As soon as I tried it on I ordered another one and was telling friends to get one. For reference I am 5'3, 215ish and wear an xl. This fit perfect and I think the bum coverage makes it super flattering (don't mind the wrinkly right out of package look). You can’t go wrong with your true size or one size up. It is the perfect length for leggings or tucked into jeans. I see myself wearing this a LOT - in the fall, winter, spring, for travel.
