It's soft, came out of a double sealed vacuum bag with a slight chemical odor, which went away really fast. The black is a true black, unlike the charcoal in the photos, which is what I was honestly hoping for but would have worn either way. It's less of a "coat" or "chunky" sweater.. and more of just a nice oversized long length thin sweater, great for fall weather. If you run warm like me, you'd like this.

I bought this sweater in gray quite a while ago and love it. No idea why I got gray lol but it's, so lightweight and cozy, which us what I want in a sweater. I pretty much always keep a light cardigan with me all seasons. I needed to replace an older one that wasn't what I'd expected and rarely wore so I came right back here and got it in black. I will any that despite this being the exact same sweater in a different color, the black fits a bit smaller and has shorter sleeves despite being the same size. Weird. Also a bit heavier feel (still light). Perhaps, a little bit silofter. I'd have thought it was a different sweater. I read in other reviews that a couple people shared the same experience. The black is more of a bat wing because of the sleeve. Still a nice fit and I love it. The sweater is as it says, oversized, loose cardigan, so if I'd have sized up as I usually do for a loose fit, I'd be swimming and wouldn't have a good fit, but that's my preference. I ordered my usual medium Perfect. I went by the measurements provided and it's as expected. Plenty of room and oversized cozy fit. For reference, I'm 5'5" and about 130 lbs. However, I would go by the bust measurement when determining size. Not your bra size, but a bust measurement. That will help ensure you have the room you want and if you like to wrap it around you on a cool fall day like me, you'll have a good fit to do so. So I'd say this is true to size and its as expected. I'm buying two more colors over the coming months. That's how much I love the sweater. I do think prices are a bit higher these days and wouldn't normally consider this price point good for me, but with sales, coupons and just overall satisfaction, it's worth the buy for sure. I personally have not had quality issues. In fact, I had the gray one on to comfort me in the hospital and they snagged me with the blood pressure cuff velcro. I thought oh gosh it's surely put a hole in it. It didn't! It held up!

This sweater was a gift for a friend and she loves it! Unfortunately, this sweater is not nearly as long as pictured nor as loose fitting. It is pretty and soft to the touch and that’s why my friend loves it, which is why I am giving it 3 stars. If she didn’t end up liking it I would’ve given 2 stars and returned it to buy a longer one.

Sweater came vacuum packed so was a little leery when I unpackaged it as it seemed thin. Washed and dried it on low and it fluffed up beautifully. Very comfortable and warm. Great buy.
