Size: Medium Color: 320 Black Zip-up Set
For those who don’t know: it’s wool, so it won’t feel like spandex or cotton when you put it on… That said, I tried it straight out of the bag and I am thoroughly impressed. I’ve never owned anything like it, just the cheap stuff for $10 and to me this is well worth the investment. It’ll last a long time (I’ll update if it doesn’t). Both arms raised and the top doesn’t ride up past my hips. Pants are “medium rise” which makes it so that everything is covered even as I move/lay about. The zipper end at the neck has a protector so it doesn’t bother you when zipped up. Measurements are accurate!!!! I ordered the appropriate size and it fits like a superhero suit. I “broke it in” by wearing it long enough for it to warm up before I went outside with it (about 15mins). Once outside, it stays warm enough to keep me from shivering in Illinois, windy, and currently 12 degrees (snowing, and feels like 0) weather while I take my 2 dogs out (with a 2nd layer: jeans and a wool hoodie). It came with socks that are surprisingly not 2 inches thick! It is soft and I’m fully prepared to face winter.. once I buy a couple more sets, that is. ... show more

  • It is wool so could feel it slightly, but I would forget about it. Kept me warm in negative temps
Size: Medium Color: 320 Charcoal Grey Set
Fit well, comfortable, and worked! I was in -15 temps and wearing these as a base layer, I wasn't cold at all. Even looked good when I was just relaxing in my room at the end of the night. I don't wear wool, so I was worried about if they would be itchy. I could feel them, but only if I thought about it. I don't think I would have noticed if I wasn't worried about it and thinking about it. 99% of the time I didn't feel them at all and was perfectly comfortable. Thin enough to fit under my jeans. The socks were a great bonus. They were men's size, but I was going to wear them over my other socks. (however a guy friend of mine forgot to pack any, so I gave them to him). The set was very much worth the money (about $100) I spent. ... show more

  • Best under layers. I now know how to dress for winter cold!
Size: Small Color: .250 Black Set
I purchased these in preparation for an Iceland trip. The wool is warm and not scratchy at all. It is very comfortable. Easy to wash, just hang to dry. It is also still thin enough for me to layer multiple other under layers if I needed depending on the weather. I’m always cold, haha, so I had these as my base layers with fleece leggings and turtle neck on top and then my snow pants or jeans with a sweater jacket. I was very cozy! I ended up getting 2 different thicknesses, 250 and 350, and love both for different temperatures. These are the best! I finally feel like I know how to layer for winter! ... show more

  • Perfectly warm!
Size: X-Small Color: .250 Black Set
I bought two sets. One for my daughter and one for me (XS & M). Each of them fit us wonderfully. The sets are very well made and not very thick at all. Normally, I have to wear 3-4 layers to stay warm during winter. The first day I wore my set, it was bitterly cold (-5 Fahrenheit after windchill) and I only wore my MerinoTech and one layer of clothing over it - not including my coat, shoes, hat, etc. I was warm all day & was often in the bad weather. I was also comfortable indoors - not too warm. I live in a dry climate, so the set was quite staticky but that’s what I expected. I didn’t really notice it until I was undressing anyway, so it wasn’t causing any issues while I was active all day. It is very soft so, not only did I not notice it all day but the few times I really concentrated on how it felt, I was impressed by how comfortable and soft it was against my skin. I’m thoroughly impressed and happy with my purchase. I will likely spend the money on it again so I can have more than one set. ... show more

  • soft yet becomes looser a day after wearing
Size: Small Color: 320 Ocean Blue Set
The base layer feels soft and comfortable, and it effectively resists retaining odors. It provides superior warmth compared to cotton when sweaty and wet. Initially, it fits true to size, but after a day of wear, the material significantly loosens, resulting in a baggier fit. This unique characteristic is observed only in merino base layers from this specific brand, despite owning several brands merino layers, this is unique or most pronounced with this brand The bagginess disappears after washing but promptly returns after wearing. Despite this, the layers are of good quality and offer fair value overall. ... show more

  • Pretty patterned base layer
Size: Large Color: 250 Nordic Tale Berry Set
I purchased the Nordic Tale Berry set and it is a fun change from solid colored base layers. Sizing is true and material wonderfully soft. Merino wool is great for traveling as it is light and warm and takes up little room in your luggage. I received a free pair of socks, thank you, which I gave to my husband as they are way too big for me. ... show more
