Just like the arcade version you need to roll the balls down the alley, up the ramp, and into one of the target holes to score points. Each target hole has a different value, so take careful aim and send the ball flying down giant 3-foot (95cm) long track to build up your score. Includes 2 playing options – classic arcade style, in which you aim and roll the ball down the track by hand – or switch over and use the spring-powered ball launcher! Also features single player and 2 player modes – challenge a friend to score as many points as possible in 60 seconds. Features a large LED scoreboard with countdown timer and arcade sound effects. Okay, so there are some design flaws with this thing. Sometimes the balls get stuck inside the score bank. Sometimes, if you're lucky, they all roll out without an issue. There's two ways to play, and using the little blue pulley is cumbersome and awkward. You have to put all of your own stickers on, and that would be fine if it were not at the price point that it currently is. The game is also a bit boring, and I wish there were more options, like Bullseye Ball. My kid enjoys it, but I would not purchase this again, or for someone else. ... show more

    • Surprisingly Good Game
Skeeball, as they call it at arcades, is a big, expensive game with a very physical playing aspect. This Alley-Ball game does a good job of delivering a fun "skeeballish" experience. Obviously the physical throwing of a ball is not part of the game and the "shooter" isn't quite as easy to use as I would like, BUT, it also is kinda a skill building thing because if you get it right, you can do some pretty fast and furious ball action! My final conclusion is that the Shooter makes the game more challenging and more enjoyable due to the skill required to shoot and score. I did find I was able to improve the overall play experience by slightly raising the scoring end of the game. This helped to keep the balls in the shooter slot during shooting. The only reason I did not give this game a 5 was that the playing experience was a bit of a compromise from real skeeball BUT I also don't really see any way to make any better that it is and it does the job. I bought the pinball game from this company as well (it was a solid 5 -star) and we are totally loving these games. Man, I got my own arcade! ... show more

So fun for everyone. We like using our hands instead of the launcher, which is easily removed or replaced. We love that the balls automatically return to the bottom for easy retrieval. Kept all ages entertained. The scoreboard works great for 1 and 2 players. Nice sticker decals to make it look like picture on box and easy setup. 100% would buy again. ... show more
