  • Solid piece of equipment
Style: Black01 (Wall Mount)
Simple to setup, sturdy and easy to use. This model's mounting bracket runs straight up and down, making it easy to mount to a stud. We chose this over other ones that had mounting brackets on the left and right of the center column.

  • Good enough for a very low cost dual pulley machine
Style: Black01 (Wall Mount)
This is a no frills, basic machine. Inspect ALL parts as soon as it arrives because your eyes are the quality control inspection at this price point. The single box I received had all parts and fasteners, and the welds were all decent quality. As many have noted, the meager instructions aren’t sufficient if you’ve never assembled a fitness machine but there are many YT vids with step-by-step guidance for the multiple clones of this design. Watch several until you kinda “get it” and refer to the manual for illustrations and you should be OK. I suggest NOT fully tightening any nuts and bolts until you've got the entire machine together, so you can easily redo any steps that are wrong. Then, gently tighten the main frame bolts and use a small level and nudge the parts into position before final tightening. If the frame is square, this thing works pretty well! The pulleys seem to have cheap bearings with a lot of inherent friction. Lubrication didn't help much, so don’t expect these cables to move as smoothly as machines at a much higher price point. This is particularly noticeable with lower weight loads (5-25#). But, the sliding/locking mechanism for the dual pulleys works pretty nicely. I numbered the front of the post with a permanent marker - high/med/low positions #1 to 6 - so I could jot down the cable angle that worked best for different exercises. (See photo) Overall, this works well enough to allow me to load each arm independently without being limited by having to stabilize dumbbells, so I can safely lift heavier loads. If the pulley bearings don’t loosen up with use, it’s not that tough to replace them with higher quality ones in the future. Overall, this machine has the featuresI wanted at a very affordable price. One safety warning: be sure to anchor the machine SECURELY to a sound wall structure! If you’re not certain how to do this, have a friend or handyman help you figure this out. ... show more

  • Works great for price.
Style: Black01 (Wall Mount)
When the machine arrived, it was missing two small parts but after contacting the seller, I was able to get the part I needed shipped. The assembly was pretty simple using the provided diagrams. Now it is fully functional and perfect for my home gym. I’ve only tried about 90 pounds max at this point, but the machine works smoothly. I did have to attach a long board to the wall so that the bottom bracket could be attached without leaving a gap due to my baseboards, but that was a simple and inexpensive addition. ... show more

  • Decent quality pulley system
Style: Black01 (Wall Mount)
I've been impressed with the quality of the construction of this wall lat pulley tower... with one exception. More on that later. First, it's fairly heavy so you may need help with the package itself. I carried it into my apartment in sections. There is an "instruction manual" but it is very inadequate. It is definitely NOT an assembly manual. It just shows you the parts but tells you very little as to how to put everything together, or their exact order. One biggie: It does not tell you this but you can't install the pulleys until you are going to install the two cables. I installed all the pulleys, which took at least an hour, then realize I couldn't install the cables without uninstalling the pulleys. About three hours time total. Several of the pulleys are difficult to fit in place and several bolts are 1/4" longer than would make sense for the tight spaces they need to fit, so keep that in mind. Because the 'user manual' is so inadequate it took me an entire afternoon to assemble. The pulleys (13 in total) are very basic quality. I believe they injection moulded and there is a small bump right in the center of the groove where the cable will run. So as the cable moves over these bumps you get an uneven pull on the cable. It's a shame because the cables are good quality and operation would be smooth if it weren't for this flaw in the pulleys. I may buy all new pulleys in the future, higher quality ones. I like how flexible the unit is with many different positions for the cable pulleys. They can be positioned very low, for upward pulling movements, or just above head height and anywhere in between. What I don't like is how the pulley head unit is repositioned. You have to unscrew a large bolt/screw, pull it out, find the new insertion point and screw the bolt back into place. What is needed it a quicker way to pull out the bolt, slide the pulley head into its new position and pop it into place. It takes at least 20 seconds to reposition the pulley head unit. The height of this system is a couple inches higher than some more expensive ones, but it is still not high enough for many exercises, unless you sit down on a low bench. A good example is overhead rope triceps extensions. Most gyms allow you to do this movement from a position 8 or 9 inches above your head. With this unit you can only get the pulley head a couple of inches above your head (I'm 6' tall). Some reviewers found that the unit needs lateral (side to side) wall support. I have not found this to be an issue. I have it solidly bolted into the wall studs and the unit does not shift sideways. Most movements are pretty much in line with the center of the tower, rather than pulling off-center. You can use the two pulleys individually or together, by the way. They work equally well either way. You'll need a 'spreader plate' if you want to join the two pulleys to act as one, or to space them further apart. I'm using separate rope attachments or handles rather than unifying the pulleys with a spreader plate like the "KORIKAHM Multi-Grip LAT Pull Down Bar for Home Gym Fitness, Spreader Plate LAT Pulldown Attachments for Pulley System Cable Machine" (here on Amazon) Other than the issue with the pulleys themselves I don't have complaints with this unit and consider it a good buy overall. Time will tell how it holds up to regular use. ... show more

  • Endless Possibilities in a Clever Compact Design
Style: Black01 (Wall Mount)
I am totally impressed with the ingenious design and adaptability of this machine. I bought this for my teenage son to do a couple arm workouts for baseball, and was delighted to discover how much more it can do. Set the handles down low, and you can do all sorts of lifts. Set them high and sit on a stool to do lats and pullups. Set them anywhere in the middle and work out your chest, arms, and core. My son is using it to strengthen his pitching and batting. The design is very compact, with a footprint about 28" x 25" x 80" tall. It definitely needs to be anchored to the wall, which they provide four carriage bolts for. The pulley system is brilliant. Pulling only one handle activates an extra pulley which effectively cuts the weight in half, then pull both handles and you get the full effect of the weights. Just brilliant! We'll be using this for many years to come. ... show more
