So obsessed with this bed for my son. It is so cute and we love it! Only downside to it is that I don't feel that the slats support the mattress enough. There isn't a long support slat down the middle, so if I sit on it or if my kids jump on the bed, it feels like it may break the slats (we are no where near the weight capacity but Ive heard the slats give a little wooden crack when we sit). Its on my to do list to go to Home Depot to buy either a piece of ply board or a piece of wood as a support beam under the mattress but so far its been great! Other than that, the bed is so cute and worth every penny! My 2.5 yr old son loves it and I love how it feeds his big boy car love without making me feel like I will have to reupgrade his bed in another few years. This is the type of bed he can have for a long while! We love it!! (Sorry for the night time photo) ... show more

For a kids bed, this thing is substantial! Very solid, and relatively easy to put together. Looks awesome, but beware that it’s a bit longer than a full bed once you account for the spoiler shelves! Stick with a 6” thick mattress like it recommends to keep it lining up tight in the front. Our daughter wanted a race car bed and boy has this thing delivered on that! ... show more
