My daughter was begging for a loft bed and finally caved. I am very happy with this bed, the storage is great and it is very sturdy once assembled. Couple things to note below: - There are A LOT of pieces. The assembly took me most of a day, but the instructions were good and parts were clearly labeled. - The screws are very obvious and I wish there were stickers to cover them. - The desk is very skinny, it wasn't that obvious in the picture. - The only part that was a challenge was the slats, there weren't holes drilled into the frame, so it was a challenge to get them spaced correctly and evenly. This was our 3rd loft bed we ordered for my daughter. The first 2 (from a different company but same parent manufacturer) arrived with damaged pieces. This bed also arrived with a damaged piece but luckily it was "just" a shelf and not necessary to support the bed. The parent company is impossible to reach so we decided to keep the bed. It took my dad and I 10-12 hours over a period of 3 days to assemble. The directions were a bit difficult to follow at times. Once assembled the bed looks very nice and seems sturdy. I received someone else's returned bed! The hardware was in kitchen zip lock bags. I'm very disappointed because of the money spent for this bed. I have no way to box and return this thing and it won't fit in my car to drop off. It's extremely heavy and was delivered in 3 different boxes. This should have been checked before it was sent to a customer. Pieces are missing and half of the materials are not labeled. Some of the holes are stripped from the previous owner. The bed itself is solid quality and really nice. The instructions to put it together were awful. The one thing I wish were different is that the desk is super narrow. Would be perfect if it were 6" wider. But still workable.

Loved the idea of this bed.. The instructions have 50(ish) steps. Some steps were unclear. Materials are decent. About 4 hours In I almost started to take down to return because one of the screw supports broke thru the other side. (This happed In three locations) would not buy again.
