The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle is built off the design of the iconic BlenderBottle Classic, with an upgraded look, and feature updates—including a rounded base and SpoutGuard—that make it easy to maintain proper nutrition on-the-go. The Powerful mixing system—with a 316 surgical- grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. A wide mouth makes it easy to add ingredients, and the rounded base ensures thorough mixing and easy cleanup. Gym water bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout, to keep the mouthpiece clean. Embossed markings show both ounces and milliliters for easy measuring. The BlenderBottle Classic V2 protein bottle can also be used as a water bottle. Honest Take We love these! I have a family of 5 and we use these everyday. We've tried other shaker bottles over the years, and most of them ended up smelling . I bought the BlenderBottle Classic V2 last spring after my previous ones developed a leak around the lid, and I figured I'd give the "name brand" a shot. Here are my honest thoughts after using it pretty much every single day. What our family likes: The wire whisk ball (the BlenderBall) genuinely works great. It actually breaks up protein powder clumps way more effectively than the plastic mesh inserts I've used before. No more chunks of unmixed powder hiding at the bottom waiting for your last sip. The 28oz size is the sweet spot for us. We can fit a full scoop of protein with plenty of water and ice and still have room to shake without it exploding everywhere. I tried the smaller 20oz and always felt cramped. The flip cap clicks shut firmly and I haven't had any leaks in my gym bag, which was my main gripe with the off-brand bottles I used to buy. Also, the bottle itself is dishwasher safe, if left unwashed with protein powder in it, the plastic can retain a slight smell from certain pre-workout flavors. I recently read that a baking soda soak fixes it, so I plan to try that. Bottom line: For around fifteen bucks, this thing is worth every penny. It's just a well-made shaker bottle that does what it's supposed to do without falling apart. If you're tired of cycling through cheap bottles every few months, just spend the extra few dollars and get this one. Knocking off one star only because the lid threads need more maintenance than I'd like. Would Definitely buy again. Probably will when my kids leave them at college this fall ... show more

There are so many options when it comes to shaker bottles that I was honestly a bit in the dark choosing one. I was looking for something quick and easy for the healthy drinks I make regularly—because stirring by hand just doesn’t cut it. In particular, I use powders (like moringa) in kefir, and without proper mixing it tends to streak through and leave a bitter, uneven taste. Overall, I was sold the first time I used this—it completely solved that problem. Instead of a gloopy, uneven mess, I got a smooth, evenly blended drink, which made a big difference in both texture and taste. Based on this experience, I imagine it would work just as well for protein powders or pre-workout mixes. The bottle itself feels sturdy and well-made, and importantly, I haven’t had any issues with leaking or drips. Absolutely love it, beautiful color and holds a lot of liquids. The lid works wonderfully, closes fully and doesn't leak. Definitely had a new plastic bottle smell but nothing too offensive. I do recommend washing it before using it.

Only blender bottles my husband and I use, we always repurchase. Truly doesn’t get better. Quality is great. Of course it will smell if you don’t wash for days, but even glass will do that if you leave something in and don’t wash.

This bottle is officially my favorite. The lid flap is a bit tight, but that means it doesn't leak at all. The color is eye-catching so I haven't lost it. I use my blender bottle every day, and I am considering replacing my water bottles with these because it's easier to clean than average water bottles. I've dropped it a few times and so far not a scratch or crack in it, the plastic seems to be holding up well. I haven't been overly rough on it, but I would probably replace it with another one if it did break. Easy to grip for dinking and carrying. The loop on top is comfortable to carry it by, I've even hung it from a carbineer and hiked with it outside my backpack full of water.
