The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle is built off the design of the iconic BlenderBottle Classic, with an upgraded look, and feature updates—including a rounded base and SpoutGuard—that make it easy to maintain proper nutrition on-the-go. The Powerful mixing system—with a 316 surgical- grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. A wide mouth makes it easy to add ingredients, and the rounded base ensures thorough mixing and easy cleanup. Gym water bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout, to keep the mouthpiece clean. Embossed markings show both ounces and milliliters for easy measuring. The BlenderBottle Classic V2 protein bottle can also be used as a water bottle. Honest Take We love these! I have a family of 5 and we use these everyday. We've tried other shaker bottles over the years, and most of them ended up smelling . I bought the BlenderBottle Classic V2 last spring after my previous ones developed a leak around the lid, and I figured I'd give the "name brand" a shot. Here are my honest thoughts after using it pretty much every single day. What our family likes: The wire whisk ball (the BlenderBall) genuinely works great. It actually breaks up protein powder clumps way more effectively than the plastic mesh inserts I've used before. No more chunks of unmixed powder hiding at the bottom waiting for your last sip. The 28oz size is the sweet spot for us. We can fit a full scoop of protein with plenty of water and ice and still have room to shake without it exploding everywhere. I tried the smaller 20oz and always felt cramped. The flip cap clicks shut firmly and I haven't had any leaks in my gym bag, which was my main gripe with the off-brand bottles I used to buy. Also, the bottle itself is dishwasher safe, if left unwashed with protein powder in it, the plastic can retain a slight smell from certain pre-workout flavors. I recently read that a baking soda soak fixes it, so I plan to try that. Bottom line: For around fifteen bucks, this thing is worth every penny. It's just a well-made shaker bottle that does what it's supposed to do without falling apart. If you're tired of cycling through cheap bottles every few months, just spend the extra few dollars and get this one. Knocking off one star only because the lid threads need more maintenance than I'd like. Would Definitely buy again. Probably will when my kids leave them at college this fall ... show more

Finally, a really well-designed shaker bottle (the 45oz version in semi-clear "white/black"). Got one this week and just ordered another. It solves virtually all my shaker bottle complaints: (1) the 45oz. version holds enough for FOUR 30g servings of my whey protein (30g per cup), with room left over to shake and dissolve. Smaller ones just don't cut it if you want to keep several servings mixed in the fridge and wash the bottle much less often. (2) the really wide mouth is perfect for adding scoops of protein powder without spilling, and for cleaning bits of undissolved powder. (3) The rounded (inside) bottom makes dissolving and cleaning easier. (4) the stainless steel whisk ball works to mix more quickly and thoroughly (and doesn't rattle when there's liquid shaking). (Just leave it in the bottle except when washing.) (5) The seal is excellent with cold water or liquid. The spout seals well and is large enough that my wife doesn't break fingernails popping it open. (6) With the "white" (semi-clear) version I bought, it's easy to draw Sharpie lines at 1, 2, 3 and 4 cups, since the original raised measurement marks on the side (in oz. & ml.) are small and indistinct. (7) the carabiner loop is no doubt handy for those who want two pounds of liquid swinging from their packs or belts. I don't, but it's a handy finger grip. Pro tip (from an elderly amateur who's always training for my next 10 years): Get a color you can see-through, then mark desired water levels with a contrasting color Sharpie. ... show more

I use Essential Breakfast powder mixed into milk. Stirring by hand never got the lumps of chocolate powder mixed up . This shaker bottle works very well. Mixes up the powdered mix and milk well. Now I can drink more Essential Breakfast!

I'm pleased with this shaker cup. I should've bought this one to begin with. I previously bought a different kind of cup, it was a Vortex type with no physical shaker ball. It was too tall for the top rack in the dishwasher, and the pop top cap was hard to open. This one is perfect size, hasn't warped in the dishwasher yet (only tried it once on top shelf so far so good), and the pop cap is sealed solid with no leaks, without practically breaking my thumbs prying it off. ... show more

I love my blender bottle - it’s so easy to use and clean. The only problem I’ve had is if the snap top gets caught and doesn’t close quite right then it leaks. But if you are just very aware of that then you shouldn’t have a problem

I've had this bottle for five months now and have used it just about every day. It works great, better than my old Contigo bottle it eventually replaced. Things to remember about this bottle. The threads and lid are plastic, do not gorilla grip it tight, or it will leak. Twist until contact and a slight bump to ensure it's seated and it will be leak free. The cap for the drinking spout is a tight fit. To avoid a victory lane celebration while you shake your favorite mix, push it until it makes a snap noise, then go crazy. Merely pushing the lid closed will not seal it. Pretty basic stuff, but reading the one and two star reviews reveals some folks still need to be reminded. This thing mixes very well, a lot less effort than the Contigo. The 20 Oz is the perfect "all-arounder" for me. The steel mixing ball just works and is so much easier to keep clean.
