Our cat loves this product so much. She will rarely eat any other kind of cat crackers. The smell is rather neutral. I've noticed nothing but a grainy type smell to it. I've been feeding 2 stray cats in my neighborhood because they were so thin and starving. I felt so sorry for them since it's been so cold. They really enjoy this cat food and it's very reasonable. Even my little Pomeranian tasted it and enjoys nibbling this food too.
