Erect Peak Men's 2 in 1 Swim Trunks with Compression Liner and 7 Inch Inseam... I haven't purchased a new set of swim trunks in a while. So I was on the lookout for a new set. When I saw this pop up on Amazon I decided to give it a try... First off, these are very good looking swim trunks. They fit really well, and I really like the compression liner. The liner functions as a built in replacement for underwear. And, the liner has a hidden pocket on one of the thighs. This is a super handy addition. It is just about the right size for a cellphone and/or some credit cards or an ID. The outer layer of the shorts keeps thing from sliding out for most situations. I normally wear Size Large shorts, and occasionally a Size Medium. The fit of these shorts is a tiny bit small for what I would normally consider for a Size Large. Something to keep in mind. So, you may want to go one size larger than normal. I have to say that I am very happy with Erect Peak. I've purchased several other board shorts and trunks from them, and all of their stuff seems better than most of the other Amazon clothing I've purchased. Erect Peak uses very nice packaging, and they really seem to have very coherent branding and style. I would say pretty confidently that you probably can't go wrong by purchasing pretty much anything Erect Peak sells... Overall I'm very happy with these shorts... Five stars out of five... Fit great hubby loves them! He said they are comfortable! Note we got xl and they were a bit loose not sure if it is due to weight loss or not but he still likes them and said way better than the mesh netting most men swim shorts have.

I actually bought these for my girlfriend, and they've become one of her favorite pairs of swim shorts. She says the built-in liner is really comfortable and much better than the typical mesh lining you find in a lot of swimwear. The material is lightweight, dries quickly, and feels soft against the skin. She also likes having the pockets, especially when we're out at the beach or pool and she wants to keep small items close by. These swim trunks have very useful built in compression liner and zipper pockets, perfect for a quick dip in the water except maybe you want to take out your phone. While the boundaries between swim trunks have blurred in recent years, these shorts definitely lean more swim trunks than board shorts. For example, the inner lining is most certainly a distinguishing feature between swim trunks and board shorts. Swim trunks are always lined while board shorts rarely do. Swim trunks typically are made of softer, lighter, and quicker drying fabric as opposed to the tougher, more durable fabric that are designed to not chafe against the surfboard (where the board comes from for board shorts). Also swim trunks feature elastic waists often time with draw strings like these and board shorts would otherwise feature Velcro closure instead. Perhaps the confusion and overlap comes from the length as while typically board shorts are longer, these swim trunks are definitely longer than your average swim trunks. Other than the length, though, these swim trunks do not have any other characteristics that would make them board shorts. These swim trunks are packaged in a stiff and thin clear vacuum sealed plastic bag then stuffed into a color printed cardboard envelop and then shrink wrapped to keep out all elements. On the shrink wrap is where you will find the white FBA product identification barcode sticker label. The package goes limp immediately upon breaking the seal. The swim trunks becomes soft and wearable immediately with soft, stretchy, and comfortable feel to the fabric. With these, I finally get my own dark to light blue ombré color schemed swim trunks and they look way cooler than their none ombré counterparts. The blue sea turtle on white background graphics on the inner liner is also very cool. Fabulous colors aside, the fabric as mentioned earlier is soft smooth and stretchy for easy all day comfort. I got these for my man, and let me just say—he looked so handsome in them! The sea turtle design is fun without being over-the-top, and the color is really flattering.
