Ordering 3XL is hit or miss for me, but this shirt fit perfect (I'm 5' 11", 285 lbs). At first I though the hood was way too big, until I put on my ballcap, and it was perfect. This shirt will give me great coverage out in the sun. I like the little zippered side pocket, which will securely hold my ID & a little cash so I don't have to have my wallet on me the whole time. I wasn't sure about the thumb cutouts at first, but now that I've tried the out, they will work great to keep my sleeves in place under my gloves. No "surprise" sun-burn on my wrists is a big plus!

I absolutely love this sun shirt. It’s become my go-to got a few for a Florida trip and must say it's dope, The fabric is super lightweight and breathable, but still gives great UV protection. It dries quickly and doesn’t cling or get too hot, even when I’m sweating. Plus, it actually looks good — flattering fit without being too tight. I’ve washed it multiple times and it’s holding up perfectly. I might need to buy a few more colors!

The shirt was cool enough to keep the hood up while kayaking on an 80+ degree day. Then I found that these shirts work pretty well to keep mosquitoes and gnats from biting, well, the mosquitoes were pretty small but biting none the less. I liked this shirt enough to come back and purchase a black one for use on less sunny days. The hood wraps around my face nicely, keeping sun and bugs away. I gave it a run in my boat and going 20 MPH into a slight wind, with the hood over a ball cap, the hood stayed in place, only pushing back a little from my face. It did not fall off my head. I recommend this shirt for sun and bugs. If that recommendation changes, my review will change.
