UTJZIB's one size fits all cotton terry cloth robe is pictured on a male that looks to me to be about 6 foot 2 inches tall. If you scroll way down in this Amazon listing, you will find a lot of valuable information in the extensive sizing chart provided - the measurements are given for chest, arm, waist, etc., so you can determine if this terry cloth robe will be a proper fit for you. I received this terry cloth robe in white, however you may find the dark blue, purple, gray, or light blue more to your liking. This is a lightweight robe, what I would call "summer weight." Since it is made from terry cloth, it is very absorbent and can take the place of a towel poolside, or even when stepping out of the shower. This is a a comfortable lounging robe because it is not cumbersome. It has a tie belt and 2 very large pockets that are 7 3/4 high and 6 3/4 wide. There are 4 stitched rows across the top of the pockets, which mimic the 4 stitched rows at the end of the arm sleeves. The attached hood is oversized and the finished hemline, as well as all the stitching of this terry cloth robe, is superb. There is no reason why a woman might not enjoy this robe as well, depending on stature. I expect it may be close to ankle length on shorter females and most likely you would have to cuff the sleeve length. The cotton terry cloth fabric is quite soft and this robe is very well made and reasonably priced. Since it is an all cotton robe, you can avoid shrinkage by washing this robe in cold water and tumble drying it on low, as recommended.

Well, this hooded robe looks like something Obi Wan Kenobi might have worn, and I can't think of a higher fashion recommendation! I have to say, though, that requesting customer reviews in mid-spring on a product probably better used in fall and winter may not be optimal. So I can't speak to this robe's durability -- or warmth during a cold winter -- as I write this. I can say that I will try to remember to return and update this review next winter after I have given this robe more of a workout. I will say that the cotton fabric used here seems somewhat thinner than the last terry cloth robe I had, but this may turn out to be a good thing. That's because that thick terry robe was CONSTANTLY unraveling. I was always yanking at or snipping loose threads! Perhaps the shorter pile on this robe will prove more durable -- we'll see. Other than that, the finish of this robe seems excellent -- I don't believe I found a single loose thread inside or out. As for the one-size fit, well -- the product page describes the hem here as "knee length." That seems about right for the 6'2" model photographed, but at 5'6", I find the hem going almost down to my ankles! Well, I won't have to worry about drafts up my legs any time soon... And I like the two large pockets and fixed belt, the latter which can't get detached and lost. Noteworthy too is the LARGE hood, which Chewie could have probably worn as well as Obi Wan! All in all, my first impression of this robe is quite favorable, but I will update this review next winter to add any additional (or opposite) reactions...

I was actually quite impressed with this robe. It is very well-made and I anticipated it being a very thin Terry cloth like a cheap towel, but it was nothing like that. Please keep in mind when you order this that it is designated as a men’s robe. I’m a woman, 5’2” and 135 pounds. It pretty much swallows me whole but I love it regardless. It will be a great robe to snuggle up in during the winter months. The terry cloth is soft and is warm.

I washed it and hung it to dry. Of course that didn't work - the thing weighs 20+lbs wet. I decided I'm not going to wait a day for it to dry. So I dried it on half heat. It appears to have shrunk about 2" in length - it's now about 1" above my knee. The company should have pre-washed/shrunk this. I can't see anyone waiting 1 day after washing for it to hang dry. I'm 6'2", 260lbs and it comes to "just" below my knees, so its long enough. This is a bit on the thin side - not a lot of weight to it. I'd rather it have some "curl up on the couch" thickness to it, but it will work for wearing by the pool or walking around the house in the morning. Big warnings on it noting "hang to dry" - I'm assuming it becomes X-small if you put it in the dryer. Overall, I'm happy with it. Washing - it NEEDS a pre-wash (smell) - I expect that another reason they tell you not to dry (it's not pre-shrunk). The belt is sewn into the robe - good - but best to tie the belt in a knot so it doesn't tangle up the rest of your wash.

I love this robe. The terry is very thick and thirsty. The seams look to be well done. The color is a deep royal purple. The size works. The only thing(s) I would change would be to have the top edge of the pockets on a slant vs straight-cut and wider through the hips (so it can better fit women as well).

This is your classic terry cloth robe with the slightly unusual, though not uncommon, hoody. I would classify the thickness of a terry cloth as a midweight thickness, which means somewhat hot in the summer heat and better in the winter cold. The stitching looks good, the robe didn't come with any build quality issues. In other words, this is just a good terry cloth robe.
