I wanted a pair of "business casual" leather boots and got this pair. The leather on the upper is very nice and looks great. The soles have nice treads so it doesn't slide, plus the material seems to grip well. Even though I can wear these boots to work, these boots can also be worn in casual settings. Even though they are leather, the shoes are comfortable. My only complaint is that they are a bit large for the size I ordered. (Ordered 9.5 and they seem more like a 10) The laces are easy to open up to slip my feet in without needing a shoe horn. The price seems pretty good for the nice looks and the leather upper.

The men's shoes that I received match their description. These shoes looked nice when I unpacked them. The soles seem to be of good quality. The leather uppers seems to be on the thin side which may be OK for an occasional dress shoe; I doubt these would hold up to daily wear. The shoe strings are on the short side as when I laced up the shoes I barely had enough string left to tie a single knot. I wear a size 10 and the size 10 that I received seem to fit as I expected.

These Chukka boots are my go-to dressy shoe. They are flexible and comfortable, with an aesthetic soft brown finish. Take nearly no time to "wear in" and are easy to get on and off. Big fan! Would recommend for wearing around the office and anywhere else you don't plan on walking extensively. I would only hope the next version has more of the heel cushion under the front half of the shoe.

So, overall I think these are a really solid and stylish boot. The leather is quite nice and rich, and the whole of the form and design flows wonderfully together. The fit is a little larger than many others, and to that I heap praise. Solid choice, as so many similar styles will have a toebox fit for a ballerina, rather than a grown man. They have a smooth feel in support, and accommodated my gate without any need for adjustment. Mostly. Get to that in a moment. The soles are solid, the pull together at the tongue is also seamless and smooth. No overlapping creating discomforting wrinkles. The only complaint I have with the shoes is the very thin upper where it meets the skin. Time will tell how it might soften up, but it is quite biting given the location. It was this that made my walk a bit tenderly, and I suspect there is likely to be a painful break-in period, which will last either until they soften up or I put them aside for good. I will update if able. For now, these look stunning, and comfort will hopefully follow for some time.

I ordered these to step up my game. Dad, 4 kids, running a business tends to let life slide as I degrade into old soccer Samba's and Hey Dudes. I wore these for a few days to break them in and then showed them off to my wife and she loved em! In truth I love them too. First off, they fit to size for me, I have a kind-of wider 10.5 foot and it was cozy. Super cozy really, they have soft sides for a leather shoe and a cushy sole. They had that wonderful leather smell out of the box. These look great with jeans because they have a boot/dress shoe combo. The seams and stitches are nice and the tread is nicely formed. It is a really impressive shoe and wears well too.
