I was skeptical on purchasing this after reading the reviews. Honestly I'm happy I purchased it. A lot of reviews said it was flimsy which I wouldn't agree with entirely. It definitely was not made to be a jungle gym but for an adult using it as room decor I've had no issues. It's not as if I'm flailing around in my bed kicking it or anything of the sort. It holds up my canopy beautifully and I love my room so much more with this new addition. Take into consideration that most reviews are generally from people who have had a negative experience. Most people who are satisfied with a product tend to just keep it to themselves and just be happy about it. However I would like to say it is worth the price and it's pretty with a canopy.... just not made for children in my opinion. ... show more

I like that it came in the color I ordered as some of the comments mentioned they didn’t receive the right product. It looks nice with my canopy but the structure isn’t that sturdy and with small children I can see this becoming an issue and I just put it up. It created the canopy feel for me without having to pay for a canopy bed. I don’t know how long it will last but I like how it turned out. Assembly was super easy. ... show more

    • Does the job, some disappointment but ok.
First I'd like to say, it does do the job... that being said, I'm disappointed it came dented to where I had to use plyers to get it to fit. The black paint was also scratched in a few places. I'm also not sure if it's because of the dent issue or why but it's a little on the wobbly side, poasibly because it is light? But even with the bed on top of the footer part. I kind of wish I spent less and just built my own out of pvc pipe at this rate. Unfortunately I needed it done asap and couldn't return. Again, it does the job, it looks good when covered with the curtains, just not what I expected. ... show more

Wow! I'm so glad I gave this a try. I wasn't even sure if I'd like having a canopy bed, but now I can't imagine it any different, lol. This happened to work out perfect for me, because I could set it up within my bed frame (my frame is king size and mattress is california king size, so there is room on each side as you can see in the pics). It sits very sturdy, but you know, I don't have anyone swinging from it, so it's sturdy enough for my needs, haha! I am also in a basement bedroom, and was really glad the height was just perfect for fitting under the drop down part of my ceiling. As for assembling it, I did it alone, and it was easy enough for me to figure out. It took maybe 30 minutes? One thing, make sure to either use the gloves they provide, or be ready to just wash your hands well after handling the metal rods. After putting up a sheer canopy and some lights, it's like I've totally transformed my room. One friend who saw it even said it makes my bed look HUUUGE- she just never really noticed how big of a bed I had before, lol. In any case, I'm loving it, it was easy to put together, and I would recommend it. ... show more

It came with a piece already slightly bent and within the first hour, my husband sat on one of the curtains and the pole folded like paper. EXTREMELY lightweight aluminum, not very sturdy attachments. Just generally cheaply made. It's also only JUST as big as the mattress and so I think you're meant to attach it to a bed frame? The feet on the base have holes in them like as if to screw them into the floor? The bed frame? Idk. It sucks, I don't like it. I'm shopping for something more sturdy immediately, it's too much of a pain to return so I guess it'll just act as a very delicate placeholder until a better one gets here. ... show more

I loved my head board, and didn’t want to buy new bed just yet b/c there’s nothing wrong with my bed. But I’ve been really wanting a canopy bed for some years. So this was a great alternative for a canopy bed look. I was able to assemble it within 30mins, I was surprised it didn’t require additional weighted support to stay up. And my pieces did not come scuffed or bent, they were in great condition and unused.
