We bought this for our 14 year old for at-home practice (he plays in the school band). The plan was to put it in his room but this is so cool, we may just keep it downstairs so we can all play with it! A fully immersive drumming experience with headphones or speakers.

    • Awesome set!
I don’t have any experience with drums, but this is for my son who is just starting drum lessons. I really love this set, especially the fact that you can put in headphones and it’s nice and quiet. Every drum and cymbal here is completely responsive, no issues with delay or malfunction. It’s a great set for kids and I think most adults would find it functional as well. You should know, it DOES NOT INCLUDE a seat. It also does not include headphones or a speaker, and you need one of these to produce noise. It does include drum sticks. The instructions were kind of a pain, as it was all photos, and being that my husband and I don’t have experience with drums, we had to rely on the directions heavily to put everything together correctly. We did have to back up a few steps a couple of times to fix as we built. The pieces however are labeled very well, so there was no issue finding what we needed. I would suggest assembling the whole thing, adjusting to where you like it, then going back and tightening all of the screws up. There are no tools needed besides the Allen key that is included. The only issue I’ve had with this whole set is that the snare drum moves a bit, and no matter how much we tighten it up, it doesn’t stay as sturdy as the other pieces. For an electronic drum set, it seems to be priced about midrange from what I’ve researched out there. For the price, I’m surprised it doesn’t include a seat or headphones, but even without those, I am extremely happy with this set! ... show more

    • Great first drum kit for a pre-teen
Lots of nuts and bolts but worth the effort. This kit is a big hit with our 11 year old. Headphone operation is a big hit with the rest of the fam!

    • Not an expert. But not in love.
The media could not be loaded. See video. Maybe all electric drumsets are like this. It was such an effort to ship that I can't on good conscience return. But I don't think it will carry us far.

    • Decent Drums for Beginners but Room for Improvement
This is solid for new drummers. It comes with 8 pieces, including quiet drum heads that feel like real drums but don't make a lot of noise although I would like it if they were more sensitive to touch. It has everything you need to start playing, sticks, a chair, and headphones. The drum sounds are cool, and you can play different kinds of music. It's small enough for your room and the price is ok.     • Even works for professionals
I got this for my husband to practice on when he’s at home so he wouldn’t have to use his real kit and both of us would be happy lol. Of course this doesn’t give you the vibe of a real kit but it’s a electronic drum set kit so it wouldn’t. Lol. This comes with eight different pieces and you have quite a few Pieces to practice with. Husband said he likes the feel of the kit and he prefers using heavier sticks with it to get more of the sound even though you really don’t get a sound. The pieces are very well-made, and it was super easy for us to put together didn’t take long at all. He can unassembled it and place it in the closet when he is not using it, and I love that it came with so many extras. This would be a great set not only for beginners or kids, but even for advanced or professional drummers, who just want a kit to practice on without bringing in a lot of of noise. ... show more
