We bought this for our 14 year old for at-home practice (he plays in the school band). The plan was to put it in his room but this is so cool, we may just keep it downstairs so we can all play with it! A fully immersive drumming experience with headphones or speakers.

The media could not be loaded. See video. Maybe all electric drumsets are like this. It was such an effort to ship that I can't on good conscience return. But I don't think it will carry us far.

    • Awesome set!
I don’t have any experience with drums, but this is for my son who is just starting drum lessons. I really love this set, especially the fact that you can put in headphones and it’s nice and quiet. Every drum and cymbal here is completely responsive, no issues with delay or malfunction. It’s a great set for kids and I think most adults would find it functional as well. You should know, it DOES NOT INCLUDE a seat. It also does not include headphones or a speaker, and you need one of these to produce noise. It does include drum sticks. The instructions were kind of a pain, as it was all photos, and being that my husband and I don’t have experience with drums, we had to rely on the directions heavily to put everything together correctly. We did have to back up a few steps a couple of times to fix as we built. The pieces however are labeled very well, so there was no issue finding what we needed. I would suggest assembling the whole thing, adjusting to where you like it, then going back and tightening all of the screws up. There are no tools needed besides the Allen key that is included. The only issue I’ve had with this whole set is that the snare drum moves a bit, and no matter how much we tighten it up, it doesn’t stay as sturdy as the other pieces. For an electronic drum set, it seems to be priced about midrange from what I’ve researched out there. For the price, I’m surprised it doesn’t include a seat or headphones, but even without those, I am extremely happy with this set! ... show more

It's perfect for me. Easy to set up and use. Many functions. Quiet use. I don't have the luxury to have an acoustic set in my house, so this set is just what I needed. Works great, sounds awesome. You can just put your headsets on and play a song through the auxiliary port and play along. Quiet, but not silent. Perfect way to practice at home if you live in an apartment or a house near other houses. It feels great, built well. Works like how it should. ... show more

    • Great set for the price
I am thoroughly impressed with this drum kit. For the price, it has a lot more features than I was expecting. I'm not a drummer and this is my first set, so I don't know any of the intricacies of drummer needs, but this set seems to cover all a beginner's needs. All parts have automatic volume leveling based on hit intensity. The crash and ride cymbals have dual zone sounds, plus silencing by grabbing the rim, no bell action though. The snare also includes rim hit effects. The sound module includes 15 different drum sets. You can't mix and match anything, though I wish you could because there are definitely different sounds I'd rather have together than the current kits, but for the price it's fine. The realism of the sound quality is very good, as well as the kits that are supposed to sound electronic. The song samples are fine for practice and the metronome is super useful. The module also includes Aux in, output, a connection for an additional crash cymbal, and a USB device port. The included cable array that plugs into the single device port already includes an extra crash cymbal wire in it that you leave unplugged, so I'm not really sure why there's an additional crash port on the module. Maybe for a third crash? The things I don't like about this kit are some of the wires are way too short for their intended instrument. They're long enough to reach the instrument, but too short to cleanly strap it against the frame, it basically has to take a straight line from the module to the instrument. The bass drum is also too sensitive, it will almost always react as if hit with full force and is extremely difficult to get the light hit sound from it. Overall, for the price, you can't really go wrong with this kit. For $350, it's priced to be a beginner kit, and that's just what it is. No frills, just an instrument to play. For the price I was expecting just single zone cymbals, so dual zone was a big surprise and was amazed they included silencing. This kit is definitely good enough to hold you over until you really need an advanced kit. ... show more
